I'm currently nursing baby 5, who is 5W old right now. I had to have a surprise c-section instead of my planned homebirth. I say this all to say, I get it and am actively in the same spot with you. My husband and I were both active duty Army for 5 years. You just had major surgery. They cut through 7 layers (watch the youtube shorts on it). You're not healing slow. You're healing at the rate your body needs. I couldn't get in my bed for almost 2 weeks because of how it pulled on my stitches and …

My husband's primary love language is physical touch and he loves snuggling me and our 5 children. His favorite position is with his head on my chest as you described so he can koala hold me and have his head on/near my boobs. I'm not much of a physical person and have had to learn to accommodate him over our 13 years together as he prefers to always be in some form of physical contact with me. I think your friend is overthinking this and getting caught up in how other people will view/find mean…

We also live rural so a few ideas for you. We have a made a walking path around our property down to the creek and around the perimeter as much as we can. We also just go walking down the road. There normally aren't many or any cars. Making a specific plan to go hiking somewhere interesting with or without a picnic is a fun way to switch it up. Even just a state forest or walking around town.

It's fairly common for your cycle to get delayed on occasion due to stress or sickness. I'll second reading Taking charge of your fertility and also recommend r/FAMnNFP

It launched a few days ago! I've been so excited to show them to my kids, but homeschool hasn't gone the best this week after getting back from vacation so no tv time. Hopefully next week though!

My husband knew he could be with me for life within a month or so. Decided it would be me in about 6 months. Due to the rules of our college and knowing I didn't want to be engaged for longer than a year, he waited another 2 years from that point to propose and we were married 48 hours after we were contractually allowed.

Haha you're very welcome. If you have more questions feel free to ask. I did just sell off our herd of dairy goats after 4 years as it was too much for me on top of homeschooling and pregnancy after a brutal Houston summer. It wasn't an easy decision given the time and energy and love sunk into them, but I couldn't justify sinking more money into them and not getting anything in return. I'm working hard to try to find something I can raise/grow/sell to make our homestead produce income instead o…

Hi there! I can help you a bit as you are in a fairly similar situation to me. I have 4 girls currently. They are 26M, 17M, and 22M apart, so I had 3 in 3.5 years, 4 in 5.5, and am expecting another babe next month for 5 in 7.5 years. We have a handful of acres, a huge house, a large garden, and plenty of animals (chickens, ducks, seasonal meat turkeys, cats, & dogs). I homeschool the 2 oldest currently and will add in my 3rd in January after she turns 4. I'm on my 4th year of schooling them. Ob…

Hubby and I met 13 years ago in 2010, married as soon as we could in Spring 2014, moved into a home together in November of that year. It felt so slow at first but now with 4 soon to be 5 children under 8 time seems to be flying by. It just means that you are enjoying yourself and your time with him.

Haha yeah, I have 4 children (1-7), homeschool, am 20W with baby 5, and we live 30 minutes from town. My husband stops for milk on his way home from work a few times a week, but there isn't the ability to run to the store if we need/forgot something or get take out because "its easier". To go into town is at least an hour delay and not worth it.

We get around this by meal planning. I started at a week and now meal plan for a month at a time. No more arguments over what's for a meal. I made a list of all the meals I can make and then asked him to add any. I shuffled them up and now rotate through them to fill in meals on the calendar. Typically in order but I'll switch them around based on schedules or events.

I'll add ice skating to the list of things that can help you develop body awareness.

Came to say the same thing. Putting on muscle and adding definition and flexibility makes you feel so good about your body, not just in how it looks but in how it feels and what it is capable of accomplishing.

I'll recommend Clutterbug instead of KonMarie. Not everyone has the same style of organization and that was a huge game changer for me just recently! I've been struggling for years to keep everything away and out of sight and hating to do it because I hated how it looks and I have 4 young kids. I like to see my stuff arranged orderly and use baskets to hide or trap only what is hard to make look pretty. I like to see my things or I won't remember, but I also like things very organized and labele…

Hubs and I have come up with a great non-verbal, low commitment way to show our interest in sex. We both have a decently high sex drive, but something similar may work for you. Whoever is interested folds the covers halfway down the bed. That's it. It's super simple but a great way to show your interest without needing to say anything. If he or I aren't in the mood, that one just climbs into bed and pulls the covers back up, but the shared knowledge is now there. And often times, knowing that ou…

It was about 2.5 years, married a year later. We were not allowed to be married at our college and had to wait to graduate first. We didn't want to be engaged longer than a year so he waited. Almost 9 years married now.

Chicken Marsala and Chicken Piccata are easy, fast, and family favorite here.
