We were married for 11 years, and the calculators I've seen say spousal support for that length of marriage is generally ~60 months. Given the equity in the house, and the support calculations, that may be the way to approach it. Certainly a good option to consider. A friend recommended a lawyer he used and really liked, so I'm planning on a consult first thing next week.
