I wouldn't mind a man checking me out to see if I am cool or not as long as his intentions are just that and not to post anything false about me. I am aware that the groups asking about men are for the protection and safety of women from actual toxic and abusive men. If you go to the affiliated groups to read their rules it is made clear that defamation is not allowed.
