Whether or not you think decades in prison is appropriate, most of us can agree that three months is a complete joke. It is not very common these days for male rapists to get off that lightly. 5	Stanford Rape Case: Does anyone know of a similar case where the genders were reversed? I think Brock Turner should have had a much harsher sentence handed down. I also think women who have done precisely the same thing to men should also have equally harsher sentences handed to them. 1	Girls, 13, lied about park sex attack, say Greater Manchester police I would support throwing them in Juvenile detention for a fair amount of time to straighten them out and drill into their heads just how badly they could have screwed up an innocent person's life. But we don't need to do anything that is likely to cause more harm than good and make them a huge burden to society in the future. After that, just put it on record that they really can't be trusted.
