Diamond drilling is a good trade. Drillers can make a lot of money, they travel all over Northern Canada and it is a jack of all trades type job. Have to be an equipment operator, mechanic, and lumberjack. There is some classes available for training, but not required. The bad thing is you have to be a drill helper for around 2 years and that is one of the most physically demanding jobs I have ever seen. I have never seen a women driller.
