Honestly, I started the post. Then I got lost in my rant. Then I felt as though my post was too long, so I felt obligated to curtail my post. However I should try to clarify, I'm just wondering what steps people take in their individual lives which helps betters them as a person.

I just feel since he expressed so clearly that he is dissatisfied, you shouldn't waste your time waiting for him to change his mind

I love this. Thank you. It's that type of subtle behavior that I find so crucial in relationships

Hello hello! Before I read your post, my thought was "you should end it". Because it seems as though having any doubt will always be a hindrance in your relationship. In my opinion, you shouldn't settle for a great guy just because he meets all the requirements. You want someone that keeps you up at night and gets your blood pumping. But hey I'm a romantic.

Hey. I feels for you. <3 I agree with most of the members here. Get a job. Any type of income will help you at this point. And don't worry about school right now, school is an endeavor not worth pursuing because you can't afford to waste time right now. I would also say, because of your past, you should work on helping yourself grow as a person. You seem to be in a much more supportive environment, and you should work on finding happiness as well as a job. What interests you? Crafts, food, repro…

Here is a lovely link that explains why curly hair has a tendency to frizz www.naturallycurly.com/curlreading/wavy-hair-type-2/what-is-frizzy-hair-how-to-stop-it/ TLDR, your hair needs moisture. Try washing your hair a little more frequently. Once a week do a deep conditioning treatment. After you wash your hair it's also important to use a light weight leave in conditioner. I swear by the following product: • Enjoy Leave in Conditioning Spray www.amazon.com/ENJOY-Conditioning-Spray-10-1-Shine-E…

I've read that washing your hair once a week is best for curlier types of hair because it provides moisture retention. However washing your hair every 2-3 days might be better, because that way you are consistently removing excessive scalp build up while shedding dead hair. Washing your hair this often also helps with moisture because you are replenishing the moisture from the condition more frequently. But no sprays and heat are a very excellent and healthy hair routine. Just make sure you're n…

Honestly, the best way to find a good product is to go to a beauty supply store that IS NOT a Sally's. I hate Sally's lol. Find a beauty supply store that stocks salon quality brands not drugstore brands. When you find your store, befriend the owner and ask questions. They know their inventory best and can direct you to a variety of products that you're looking for. And when you find some products, pick 3 and Google the reviews. Or take a chance and test it yourself. However if you want to avoid…

Hello, Hello! So my stepdad is allergic to 60% of the food on this planet, and is still a "super-taster". Needless to say, dinner was quite frustrating for my mother. My suggestions are as follows: 1: Once a week for a month, introduce a new protein to your diet. The variety of meats will open up doors for different recipes. I suggest starting with pork and the various pork styles, bacon, pork chop, Italian sausage, and ham are easy starting points. Then move onto beef and steaks. Seafood. Chick…

Honestly, if you're using a good enough shampoo and a great conditioning treatment daily, you'll be fine. My routine uses double to triple conditioning treatments to help maintain moisture. Just use a hair purifier maybe twice a week for excessive scalp build up. Over time you'll notice your hair be less greasy

/u/ZingMaster and /u/okpow and /u/claudiuscrab The first thing I need to know is your hair type. Here is a good link: www.popsugar.com/beauty/What-My-Natural-Hair-Type-36337831?slide=6 For starters, your basic wash routine should consist of: 1: Hair Purifier: You need something that removes build up and leaves your scalp healthy. Excessive build up from products on your scalp makes your hair greasy and heavy. USE THIS ONCE A WEEK ONLY. I suggest this: www.amazon.com/Mastey-First-Purifier-Shampoo…

Yeah! I can definitely help you as well. I'll do a general post to this thread which can help us begin our hair care journey! While I will admit that I have the luxury of more high end products (nothing ridiculous) we can probably find comparable products within a variety of price ranges.

I would really like to help you on your hair journey! In my opinion I have gorgeous hair, because of a carefully crafted and specialized regime. I understand that's a grandiose and conceited statement, but I feel it to be true! What exactly is your hair type? If you wish bro not discuss this on this thread, I would love to assist you via PM :)

First thought: get out of the sun. And TBH, you should wear sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun, however the oils in sunscreen would actually expedite your tanning process. Just try gentle exfoliation with a loofah everyday, please don't bleach your skin. That's very unhealthy

Black girls in America are less likely to go through skin lightening treatments. Indian culture has the highest percentage of skin lightening treatments. If a light skin black girl goes through extensive lengths to PRESERVE her caramel tone that's different than actively using bleach on your skin. Do not lighten your skin, it's dangerous. In addition to that, if the sun is making you darker, then stay out of the sun. Problem solved One more thing, I know plenty of light skin girls that have had …

Hello! Well for starters, working out is a good start to long lasting and healthy changes. May I suggest "Nia Shanks: Guide to being Awesome". It's about 50 bucks and comes with everything you need to know to get a great body. Makeup take yourself to Sephora. Learn everything you can in an hour. Some starting points for makeup in general. 1: find a base for your face. It can be a BB Cream, CC Cream, or foundation. Depending on your needs, you might need more or less coverage. 2: eyebrows, not re…

Yeah I'm going to agree with everyone else and say you're having a pity party. Your problem is your attitude. If your only pool of women is dark skin women then start there. Then maybe when you find some confidence and stop complaining, maybe you'll score with a girl. But honestly if you can't accept the beauty of your culture and understand that skin color is trivial, then you don't deserve to score. Because no one is going to like the guy who doesn't like himself

Well if you're hitting the gym twice a week, you need to give it more time. 6 months to a year minimum to get a decent body. As for your clothes, just because they're expensive that doesn't mean they look good. You can buy ugly expensive clothes. Not to be rude, but if your face isn't your best asset, you're going to need to learn some charm. Charisma will get you very far and if you can smooth talk a girl, that will dramatically help your game. If you're still not scoring, then you need to aim …

Under somewhat limiting conditions, men and women can be friends. My current housed situation is two boys, and one girl and one boy. The four of us live quite well together under entirely platonic conditions. While I will admit that it depends on particular circumstances for these friendships to thrive, it can be done. How it works for us: 1: the girl has a boyfriend and therefore is off limits 2: why would you fuck your housemate that's retarded. 3: the males in our house have come to realize t…

Hi! I love to cook and consider myself an amateur chef. With that being said, your post was a little vague. A perfect meal has a beautiful protein accompanied by some lovely veggies. I hear you have a salad down, but might I suggest sautéed Brussels sprouts with garlic, salt and pepper? 4 ingredients but so delicious! Hello! I am also looking for a supportive fitness community that respects the RPW ideology. However I have found no such group lol As for fitness, I recently started weightlifting every other day with cardio in between? I've been lifting for about 3 weeks now, and I've already seen dramatic results. I highly recommend the following book www.niashanks.com/train-awesome-guide/ It comes with 40 weeks of workouts total and has transformed my life! I know love being active and I'm looking better each…
