I find it funny how they are forced to either invent new terms or redefine old ones in order to protect their precious group. They need to protect their questionable agenda, because it will never stand if they actually had to defend their theories with reason.

Offer a finger and those activists take the whole hand. Compliance implies guilt, by admiting to any demand you open the floodgates for the next one.

Okay I admit he will loose more money than her probably, I find it amusing that technically the guy will get 50cents on the dollar of that 700k. A good lawyer will do that for you, so basically he became a pimp without even knowing.

You probably have never achieved anything really difficult in your life if you think what he did is toxic masculinity.
/r/MGTOW28/07/21 08:35 AM

The fact that any interaction between children and grown men is generally seen as suspicious at best nowadays is the problem here. Sure, the guy could be a danger, but that is the exception, not the rule. I refuse to allow the mainstream narrative that every man is a predator to sink in. Be careful yes, but I will not act like a mouse around people. Instead, you see what the lack of male rolemodels does to young women.

I do not know anything about your situtation, but in any case, you are not going to change her, and you already have the solution: move out.

I hate this fucking disconnect between men and women in this regard. When women tell me about their problems, I assume they want advice to solve it. But thats not the case, what they want is someone who listens to their misery and tell them a bunch of uplifting bullcrap. They dont want a solution, they want attention and an emotional tampon. Thats why they sometimes get upset with me for trying to propose solutions. Having business meetings with women is a nightmare.

Notice how her first reaction is grabbing something to hit him with? And the boy knows whats up in an instant? The boy wouldnt dare talking in such a disrespectful manner with his dad, or his mother if he knew dad was coming home in the evening. I am not saying dad is going to whoop his ass, he doesnt need to. This is why you need a father figure, even if its for a few hours across the week.

If they are traditional women they have a husband to do that for them, they dont need us. This is the wrong sub for such campaigns in general, technically rule 4 and 8 dont allow this sort of stuff.

And then they ask: "Why dont men open up and talk about their problems?" Because you get ignored, shamed or laughed at.

Women dont care about that. They see the name and think "Status!" They dont pay that much money because an MK bag is better than the rest, they pay it because it screams "I can afford fancy stuff", not because the bag is objectivly better than a no name design. Men buy a Breitling or a Porsche because its objectivly better than most similar products, even though it commands a premuim price as well. This is what status is derived from, some form of excellence, yet women would buy glass pearls if …

I was at the horse racetrack once, when I was about 16. Pretty fun, but the surprise of the day was certainly meeting my maths teacher. All around swell guy and probably the best teacher I ever had. Still, we students always wondered: he was very well dressed, expensive car, surely you dont earn that much as a regular teacher? He had the bets all figured out (stochastics is one of his favorite subjects) and apparently knew a lot about horses, being a teacher was basically a side hustle for him. …

I mean yeah, clearly she is a moron, urinals are cheaper than regular toilets and take less room, but make it about men somehow. Can we stop these FDS posts? I mean as a child I sometimes laughed at inappropriate things, but you really should not make fun of the mentally challenged.

I dislike how they pretend that men liking young women is a new thing or something we developed artificially. We as men did not change in that regard through the entire recorded history of mankind. 40+ women however started thinking that 40 is the new 25 and instead of having a family and possibly even grandkids at that age they want to have it all. So in order to accomodate their delusions, we should change what is basically hardcoded in our DNA. Typical women, the world needs to change and cat…

I remember that one, shes a young mother and decided the best way to be that, is to abandon her child for two months after a failed wedding and ride the carousel in SA for two months - with the money she scammed from friends. I would not be surprised if she still got custody of the child.

Reminds me of this joke: A store that sells new husbands has opened in London, where a woman may go to choose a husband. Among the instructions at the entrance is a description of how the store operates: You may visit this store ONLY ONCE! There are six floors and the value of the products increase as the shopper ascends the flights. The shopper may choose any item from a particular floor or may choose to go up to the next floor, but you cannot go back down except to exit the building! So, a wom…

I dont know it the US has that law, but many countries have. You have to help in emergencies, but only if you dont endager yourself or leave young children unattended. For example no one expects you to run into a burning house to save anybody, but if someone breaks down in front of you, you will be held accountable if you dont try to help and call an ambulance.

The entire movies success was because it catered to both men and women perfectly: for the men they had awesome production values and stunts, for the women a typical bland romance. The plot itself was rather mediocre.

Honestly I can totally live with the diversity in the series. It does not feel forced and makes sense in these future societies. "Strong" female characters arent plot devices, and I can get aboard with some being very good at their "traditionally male" jobs. And they dont make the faux pas of making males more stupid/weak only to show a woman in better light. Especially with belter women - this kind of society does not have the luxury of preferential treatment for anybody. Martian society as wel…

Dude, I just caught up with The Expanse, what a good show. Are you telling me the series is about to hit a roadblock? This season is already done, I hope? You do PE mixed with girls? In my school boys and girls were separated after 6th grade. We played football, basketball and stuff and the girls did something else in another gym. Was a blast, our teacher mostly dumped a ball in the hall and went to the girls. Apart from a few standard tests (mostly athletics), we never saw the girls in PE after 6th grade. It really was a blessing.

First, you need proof. Not suspicion or hearsay, 100% proof. Even if you have that, it still might just be that the messenger (YOU) gets killed. Are you alone, or does anybody share your knowledge? If you have 100% proof, speak to the cheater. Tell her either she tells you buddy the truth, or you will. That way the inevitable blame is not on you, but her, she will burst the bubble. And you left her a chance to make things right. I would appreciate that, but it all depends how enchanted your budd…

I work in HR. In 15 years, never once were there two applicants with the exact same qualification. Which this whole thing is based on, its utter nonsense. In practice this means you can decide however you want, but most HR departments are female dominated anyway, especially "easy" government jobs.

Well I dont have much to go on, and there are more reasons for a woman to string you along than there are stars in the galaxy. Generally, if you make out with a women and want things to continue or "escalate" both of you should want to meet up very soon again. Men are usually required to help things along and take initiative, so ask for a date this weekend. If she blocks, try to make another date next weekend. If she blocks that attempt again, leave her hanging. Dont make another offer, just say…

No it doesnt. You can get a very decent and new everday bike for 500$. 1000$ will get you very far. Now if you want full suspension, disc brakes and other stuff 99% of people dont need for everyday use (and have little clue about maintenance), it will be more costly.

A good bicycle. Granted depends on where you live, but zooming past people in traffic or simply going for a quick grocery shopping tour is so stressfree compared to doing the same thing with a car. Plus you safe money and do some good for your health. I always did quite a lot by bike, but since I bought a new one fresh from the shop I barely use my car anymore. No comparison to the ramshackle bikes I drove in the past to deter thieves.

If there are bats involved, you might want to go to a vet. Bats can carry nasty diseases. I dont know your dog, but you can attempt to let them get to know each other. Put the cat in the bathroom with the door closed, so they can smell each other. Be careful though, might not work. It did work for me in the past though, might be worth a shot.

Thats an ancient chinese ideal, especially for women. But it has nothing to do with being perceived as another race, its about showing off. If your skin is basically as white as milk, it means you are rich or of high social standing, you dont need to work on the fields for example. Same thing with europeans in the middle ages and renaissance, being tanned by the sun is an indicator of low social class and standing. Hence the rich and noble women ran around with sunshades all the time. Similar wi…

A well maintained wrx sti of that era with about 100k miles on it will probably set you back 10-15 grand, rough estimate. Demand for them is quite high, but you can find much cheaper models. Problem is, many are (often badly) modified or someone tried to built themselves a racecar. Stay away from those. MGTOW is not about making any impact on society, its about making an impact on yourself and your life. The way you describe it, it sounds you see MGTOW as some sort of cure for society and gender relations - but it isnt. It is very much focused on yourself, self improvement etc. The side effects may include being considered more desirable by women, but thats not the goal, thats probably more in t…

On average, men and women have very similar IQ, which is still the best indicator we have. Only men are significantly more represented at both extreme ends of the spectrum, meaning there are more male geniuses and more male idiots. I think it wasnt rage that killed him in the end, thats why he used the water pistol to make the cop shoot him, it was suicide by cop. It was the realisation that the life he fought for was unatainable at this point. "I am the bad guy?" He had a life insurance and wanted it to payed out to his kid/wife. Cant wait for that movie as well, but a bit unfair in comparison. One is a feel good action movie, simple entertainment in my eyes, while the other is a biopic with top notch actors. Cruise plays exactly that one archetype of character, the action hero oozing confidence and ability, while Damon and Bale are basically swiss army knifes in comparison and can play so many different characters very competent. I know exactly what I am getting with both movies though, both have their place. (At least …

Yup, too proud it seems. Sorry but China did not start this situation. I dont like defending the chinese point of view, but China isnt the only one acting like an arsehole here. They have a reason to act snobbish (still seems very childish), while Japan comes off as a butthurt looser who still hasnt apologized for crimes committed. Its very clear who was the victim here, pretending nothing happened wont help this situation.

Well I guess there is still a lot left unsaid between these three countries. I can totally see why they dont show the Taiwanese flag, and I dont think its a thing where chinese producers have any choice. And I cannot believe there is still that amount of bad blood between Japan and China. Not downplaying what happened, but there should be some sort of reconciliation by now. I mean look at German relations with France, Poland, Russia etc. Why is that in your opinion? Both to proud?

Not in the US. Eggs there are treated and cleaned for some reason. This however destroys the natural protection an egg provides. So in the US, eggs need to be stored in the fridge. In most other countries thats not the case, there the eggs are not treated in the same way and retain the natural protection, fridge is not needed. I noticed this after an US friend thought he would die because of salmonella after he noticed I had eggs stored in the cupboard.

the traditional western marriage models are all but gone. The societal structures and conditions that enabled them have been destroyed. I cannot say I dont agree, but I am more optimistic. Still, keeping low and observing what happens while doing nothing will drive me insane.

Thats what got me thinking. It was an entirely different situation for women. Nowadays the woman basically cannot loose. With a dowry, they would be strongly advised to be a lot more serious and honest about her intentions. Instead of getting a useless degree woman would be working to get their money together (or we are being honest and just accept that the family of the bride will most likely pay) And considering who would actually pay the dowry, her father most likely, that just might bring th…

Quoting from wikipedia here: Europe Dowry was widely practiced in Europe until the early modern era. Folklorists often interpret the folk tale Cinderella as the competition between the stepmother and the stepdaughter for resources, which may include the need to provide a dowry. Gioachino Rossini's opera La Cenerentola makes this economic basis explicit: Don Magnifico wishes to make his own daughters' dowries larger, to attract a grander match, which is impossible if he must provide a third dowry…
/r/MGTOW04/07/19 01:44 PM

I was referring to european/ancient practices. There the brides family is paying dowry to either the groom himself, or his family. The grooms family will "loose" a man, and thus his earning potential, since he will now have a family to look for himself.
/r/MGTOW04/07/19 01:37 PM
3

Btw, what you mean is called bride price. A dowry, at least in europe, was paid by the family of the bride. Since roman times, where the father of the groom received the money, because he would loose his sons income/workpower. Its not surprising that only the practice of men paying for women remains.

Literally nothing you said means you have to marry in order to gain said life. Thats my point. Why invite a possible tragedy, when you can just NOT marry and enjoy life all the same? If a woman cannot be happy with me without wearing a ring, I have to assume she has either ulterior motives or is covering her back just in case. And doing that is against the whole concept of marriage, at least in my eyes. If a woman does not trust me without a onesided government contract, she doenst trust me at a…

Its standard operation procedure by leftwing politicians. Activists try to base policy on absolute exceptions. Imperial Germany is generally the time after 1871, the time before it was "called" Holy Roman Empire, but it was neither roman, holy nor an empire. After the Franco-Prussian war of 1871 (btw. this war started the french surrender meme), the prussian king WAS emperor of Germany, so after it was unified. Yet if you asked the prussian king, being a king of Prussia was much more prestigious than being Emperor of Germany.

Playing devils advocate in this situation is rarely a good move. It does not sound as if our friend wants a revolution, at least it doesnt sound like that. What do you mean by he is sensitive about marriage und his daughter? I can imagine he dont want hear anything remotely bad about his situation or his choices? On of THE philosophers actually, and one of Germanies most well known. "Thus spoke Zarathustra" is probably his best known work. Quote from Wikipedia: Nietzsche's thought enjoyed renewed popularity in the 1960s and his ideas have since had a profound impact on 20th and early-21st century thinkers across philosophy—especially in schools of continental philosophy such as existentialism, postmodernism and post-structuralism—as well as art, literature, psychology, politics and popular culture.

Male lions are an excellent metaphor for male humans and their development. All the world, and especially wahmen, sees, is that they are lazy, always eat first and let the females do the work. I totally agree that Arya´s development is stupid and her skill unbelievable. But I think Brienne is actually believable, she trained her whole life, wears actual armor, is huge, and isnt a drunkard like the Hound (who was rock bottom at the time of the duel) or most other knights. Her being a really good fighter is okay in my book. I think someone like Jorah or Jon would kick her ass, still.

Giving guns to europeans hasnt really worked out well so far, too many people in a realtivly small space. For personal defence its okay, but not on this scale to forcefully oppose the government, its not needed in my opinion. I believe that the monopol on the use of force should be with the state. Effective resistance is possible, look at the revolution in Iran or the recent failed coup atempt in Turkey, or the classics, Ghandi/Mandela/MLK. What is the military going to do if faced by a determin…

Well at least in Germany there is a public outrage, but of course all protesters are now nazis and far right if one believes the MSM. As for individual EU nations, thats the culprit. Even Brexit wasnt enough to getmake the politicians reconsider, so what can smaller EU nations do without commiting political and fiscal suicide. I guess Germany and France would have to leave for that. And that will take time...

German here. The vast majority of europeans strongly dislike the EU cleptocrats. There is no direct involvement of the Eu citizens, basically the politicians can do what they like and dont have to face a backlash on the voting booth - because there are no direct votes. Big, big problem. Of course the politicians in Brussels use that loophole to fill up their own pockets. I know not one person who feels represented by these politicians. This is not democratic.

I really liked the character in GoT - until they decided that Arya somehow (suprisingly fitting for fem-narrative) became one of the best fighters in the whole setting, WHILE BEING BLIND, in a few months. Dont get me wrong, if done right, like with Brienne (?), I have no problem with a good female fighter. Thing is, Brienne is huge, and was trained all her life, by professionals. Now I did not preorder a game in years (except little Indy-Titles), I dont want to support many bad business practices that come of it. Vote with your wallet is always said by reviewers. Now the customers actually did that, great! Finally! Looking forward to much improved customer relations, more feedback as well as less shady business by AAA developers. Great lesson for EA. Especially with EA preorders arent worth it, if one thinks of just the recent disasters like Battlefront.

That part about about adoption and having too high of a standard for potential mothers resonates with me, as I mentioned in my post. Interesting thesis, I kind of agree. It seems logical. If one removes all external influence and needs, humans choose the life they find most interesting or rewarding. Now if society does not shame bad morals, everybody kind of devolves into his or her "true self". And considering todays gender discussion, it is easy to see why men are "performing" well while women decline. Simply no checks or balances for them nowadays, while men are on the plantation, since the beginning of time.

Its about being content and in a happy state. And given that MSM etc. relay the idea that a man has to have a wife and kids and be a provider to be happy while in most cases follwing that advice will lead in the opposite direction. That domination thing is more or less a byproduct. Women look for high value males, who are by definition domintaing, i.e. being succesful and driven. If one person does the heavy lifting and constantly makes better decisions, he or she is dominating by accident, not neccesarily by design. And because females will only be attracted to a male with those traits, its basically impossible that she is more skilled. And therefore, all job offers have to be non-genderd. "Secretary (female/male)" would be the title, even if every application by a man would go straight to the bin. I can not even tell applicants why I did not select them, because I might get sued on bas…

Just wow, if the roles were reversed the male jail-population would increase by two.

The croc tasted that the boy was made of soy, so being a carnivore it spit him out again.

Gavin drops redpills all the time. I dont like all his views (he is married after all), but as far as traditional men go, he is the bomb.

Pretty much my everday lunchbreak! I too enjoy too listen audiobooks or podcasts! My female coworkers dont understand at all why I insist on eating alone everday and not share a table with them. Why would I listen to pointless gossiping when I can enjoy a good book? Jeez, an appointment with the dentist would be preferrable...

Not that bad, but somehow the director decided the best way to show off a badass predator is to set him against a family in a suburb... Really? Why not make up a background story about the predator, who is a single mom raising her kid alone while fighting patriarchy?

Happened recently, remember the french cop who traded himself in about 3 months ago, was injured and died later on? True hero. (he married his fiance on the deathbed, AWALT confirmed btw.) Yeah, not that uncommon. And thats only the lowly "street-terrorists", one could argue that in international relations it happens all the time. How many terrorist regimes were not only negotiated with, but actually supported by US/GB alone? Not to mention other supposedly democratic nations, those two are the …

They are committed to making money off your labor Sorry to be rude, but so does every company you work for except charity. Some offer better deals for employees than others, I understand your point though. They will all say, we are different! We like to find highly qualified people in your specialty and market you to many See above, the right agency and your individual skills (both in your job, socially and as a diplomat) are very important. Companies know they could get you for $30/hr, but they…

I do actually care about my clients, some personal stories are really heartbreaking, and I enjoy my job. I have more than 10 years of experience as an actual hiring manager in agencies. I have seen and heard enough though, even done some shady things myself, to give some insights. Overall I can say there are a lot of shit companies, or more acurate, shitty hiring managers and recruiters. But many positions will be exclusivly offered via agencies since companies often outsource that part of HR. Y…

Well put, the marriage oath is the same thing for women, its holy and totally serious - until it isnt any longer when the deal isnt to her benefot any longer, i.e. when called to serve in an actual war. Or, in marriage, until there another Chad with a more benficient deal...

Another proof, women generally have no concept of honour at all and perceive loyalty completely different. Its basically her "friendzoning" the military and more importantly ridiculing an oath to her country. Men do that because on a neutral standpoint, no one can expect that you give your life for the benefit of others. So we acknowledge this fact by making that oath - which means in case shit actually hits the fan - we have been warned that the deal is onesided once called to serve. Think abou…

It depends on what he means by having the same status as married and if there is a no-fault divorce. My brother has a kid but is not married. They live together (in Germany btw) and both care for the child, he even works part-time. For example even though he is the father he cannot go to the doc and vaccinate his daughter without the mothers consent. If they were married, he could. I am not exactly sure on the matter, but there are some things where women are clearly priviledged when your not ma…

Its more like the interview got interesting because, Petersson ist just a great speaker, well thought out, to the point and unafraid. Should be an interviewers dream - if one has done the homework. The only credit im willing to give channel 4 is that they keep the interview up on YT and dont block the comments. That is a sign of good journalism and free speech, credit where its due. Every other news company I can think of would have at least blocked the comments or tokk the interview down entire…

Merkel would never be where she is today if she wasnt a woman. Men in general are expected to have principles to be trustworthy and (re-)electable. She has flipped sides on many different topics over the years (nuclear power, bank-crisis and many others), a mans political career would have been over at several points. But no, "Mutti" (Mommy) can not do any wrong! Also she is a master in disposing of actualy well established politicians who could be dangerous in elections by ginving them highly r…
