You can't abolish child support without putting something else in its place, though. Otherwise parenthood becomes an even more dangerous proposition and more single parents would end up in financial ruin. What? I don't get where everyone thinks that people shouldn't be responsible for their financial decisions(having a child). If you can't afford a child without stealing someone else's money, you shouldn't be having a child. It really isn't that hard.

We don't really differentiate between uni/college in the US, they are just two different names for the same thing. We use private/public school, if that is what I think you are referring to.

The point is the exact opposite of what you say: Women should have 100% control of their body and what they do with anything in their body, including a kid. They also have to live with the consequences of that control, not anyone else.

Arguing about "financial abortions" and child support "accountability" puts men's wants above the needs of a child. I'd argue that the women having the child is putting their needs/wants above the child if they can't support it.

No, that is terrible advice. Unless you know you are going to be arrested, tell them what you need to without incriminating yourself. "Not Talking" might get you not charged with a crime, but it will get you detained for the night at least.
