As a general rule, things being bad for something else is completely unrelated to the subject at hand being bad.

So this is what this sub is now ? Just general woman bashing / circlejerking ? There's no pass being denied here.

Acting disappointed in people when they apologize to you ? I wasn't saying I was wrong; I wasn't, I was only saying that being mean was unnecessary. "I expected that from a feminist sub. But here? Disappointing..." You are so far gone into weird subreddits war, it's crazy. "rationalizing their wrong behavior" His friends was raped so his behavior was erratic. There's your "I'm all superior" act again.

Oh you know what ? Fuck you sideways. You'll deserve some apologies when you stop being a self righteous, entitled overgeneralising asshole. You don't have a bastion for your shitty behaviour anywhere

Fine, I was unnecessarily mean to you, apologies for that.

A guy RAPED HIS FRIEND, so he was angry and was thinking crazy. Don't take your superior ass when you have no idea what that's like. He didn't do anything to anyone, let's let the guy be.

While I agree with everything you said, please let's not use "womansplaining" as a real word. I'm so tired of the "gendered" words, they're the opposite of what feminism should be

Since when is this /r/NiceGuys ? I thought this was for discussing real issues. Tinder is a DATING / HOOKUP app. PEOPLE on Tinder mainly want to have sex, or coffee ( mainly followed by sex, yeah. ). Furthermore, this is the word of one guy, with one experiment. So while what he trying to show is obviously true, this is not even good enough to debunk the double standards. I thought this sub was better than this.

Here's something that I can raise my hand to "I will never, ever, be pressured into pledging anything".

Thing is, in all of your definition of what protection is, someone has to get shot. Someone has to die, and the other have to kill. Still, you prefer having everyone with guns rather than no one. And your comparison with other's murder rates is nicely innacurate as well. You suppose that guns cannot move from states to states, and you're not comparing with Western Europe countries, that are quite similar to the US except for guns, and rather comparing to entirely different countries.

Thanks for the unnecessary aggression. And FYI, I live in France, so I have no idea what reality lies in your description of "gun lobbyist", especially in the "fear" part. However, what I see is your murder rates; and that you are afraid of your family getting "mowed down by bullets". This is simply terrifying, and though understandable when millions of guns circulate in the hands of civilians in your country. But you prefer to bring one more gun into your hand, as if you were more reasonable th…

"Dines also questioned the value of the Kohut's data, arguing that as the average age of the study's respondents was 45 it did not represent teenagers and young men, a key demographic of porn users." That's the issue for me. Oh, and also, if feminists truly believe that Porn makes women less interesting, they clearly have a very low opinion of what women and humans are.

Yeah but is "forcing" people into official jobs the way to get the most efficient officials ? And is gender what really represent you the most ? I'm just saying this is questions that deserved to be asked.

" It’s meant to set the tone—that this is and was a date, not a networking opportunity or a new friendship " So, the only thing separating a date from a networking opportunity is that the man pays ? You're doing it wrong..

Totally agree. The thing is, everyone is afraid of having unqualified people in charge, simply because of their gender.

I don't understand people who shout for "More women/men in this field !" I could become a nurse. I just don't want to. I study medicine, it's 70% female here. People made their choice, equally. Where's the problem ?

You quoted the guy's testimony, which can be a lie as well. What's interesting, however, is that the cervix was inspected, and there was no trace of sperm. They found sperm on the guy's underwear ( which works with his testimony ). They also found his DNA on her underwear, but that's no surprise if they cuddled half naked.

Among the seven-to-11 age group, 83% reported feeling sad or down and 16% said this was because of concerns about their looks. Is this a fucking joke ?

True that. Rape is a hard thing to grasp, especially when in this case, where it involves a teenager; someone who gave his consent and is close to the age of consent. In some countries, he would be above that age. We need more terms and more definitions IMO

Came here to point that out. " admitted to having sex with a 15-year-old boy on four occasions " " The two met before school and after " I know this case is far from the hard cases where it is obvious that the affair was rape, but here the article do not take any position. It just states. So, no, it's the most basic form of journalism you can find.

How do you even formulate stats when : *A - only a minority of abuses are reported *B - Not all false accusations end up being found false
