I recognize myself as a Steve. Thanks for bringing this up, well written. I'm going to print the first part and try to act upon it.

Just being brutally honest : don't. I did it, I was trying to recover from a OneItis-breakup + getting back to the game after this 2 years relationship and it didn't help at all. But to be honest, it gave me a huuuuge amount of confidence for the bed-matters. Now if you really needs the practice, you could give it a try but keep getting out and meeting others. And be honest with this girl, don't let her dream of something more thant what it is.

Plus you learn more from rejection than from avoiding approach. The more you approach, the less rejection occurs.

Why wait few dates ? I think it can be possible to ask those kind of questions on the first date, depending the comfort and the connection.

Well, I'm far from PUA, but if I can sum it up, its all about : confidence and chemistry. I got my confidence thanks to improvisation theatre, it raped my shyness and I was far less afraid of what people will think if I do this or that. I took salsa class and I was actually good at it. It helped me break the ice with women and get comfortable with touching them. For the chemistry, well, it depends on you and your girl. For me, she was latina, she didn't know salsa, so I teased her about that. Th…

This is how I met my ex-gf. She never brought her BF, I tested her to see if she was going to talk about him but she never did. Only once, when we first met. So I unleashed my game and she ditched her bf to me. Betarex is right, if you want her, let the game begin.

I, too, were fully blocked by my bitch butterflies. I think the best way to overcome this is by putting yourself in a lot of approach situations. The more you approach, the less you're going to hit that brick wall again. And to overcome shame, do things that are completly stupid. I did some improvisation theatre where I made a "banana dance" in front of 50 people. I wasn't drunk or drugged.. and I survived (I'm glad there are no pics or videos of that moment tho.) If you fight your bitch butterf…

FAIL = First Attempt In Learning. We should stop being affraid of failing or rejections. Easy to say but not that hard to do ;) I personnaly lack of motivation, probably need some kick in the ass to get me started.

Great points. I would add also trying new things (dance class, cultural things such museum or books etc.) and also the fact that you should always try to push the limits of your comfort zone.

Well, I thought it could be a name but you might be right. Actually I wasn't sure that expression existed in english, since its not my prime language. Let's consider this a typo.

Not trying to be the Devil's lawyer here, but my guess is women are often manipulative and often not in a conscious way. Just like "nice guys" can also be manipulative and not always aware of it. OP did a great job ! I would have fallen far before that, need to take the pill.

I don't understand why you wasted time answering them. I mean it worked so you don't have to prove anything.

I am currently reading "No More Mr. Nice Guy!" suggested from /r/faimprovement and this is one of the many things we learn in it. Such a great book!
