No, it sounds odd to pretty much everyone. Men, women, guys, dudes, chicks, lads (UK), lasses (UK): these are part of common speech. Males and females is weird. That's the cultural evolution of language. Males and females are fine words to use if you work in biology or evolutionary psychology, but no in common parlance. If you want to use them then go ahead, but it won't catch on.

This is only a problem for autistic people. Socially competent people can read between the lines and know what people want. Also, that second to last paragraph: a night is "insane" if it doesn't end in a hookup? Lol, okay.
