The statement in that article that 'the real victims are female rape victims' didn't pass the basic logic check for me simply because there where no female rape victims in the story at all. I also objected to your reaction to that statement in saying you don't care about female rape victims period. Your longer explanation was more reasonable and less hyperbolic. You think that at some point I will be willing to condemn someone based on how they label themselves? That will never happen, as people often mis-label themselves because they have not been exposed to contrary views. It would not be reasonable for me to say 'yup, they have the magic label, they are not worth my time!' People's views change over time. A person without exposure to the facts and who is unaware of the intrinsic bigotry may declare themselves a feminist. Another possibility you may not have considered is being indifferent to the opening of doors by men. Which consequently is the stance most men hold when the door is opened for us. Indifference. I believe the concept presented by feminists as "objectivification" is just "physical lust" which is a normal and healthy part of sexuality for both genders. If MRA's started shaming women for physically lusting after men, then at some point we will be called to defend that stance. It would just make us a mirror, instead of a voice of sanity.
