Wow, ok I get that this is suppose to be a sort incentive to get girls into learning trades but this should be given to both genders, trades is always in need of people, it doesn't discriminate and having this incentive for anyone to claim would be a much bigger positive.

This is such a non-issue god damn. You know why they're adding female soldiers? It's not in some insane attempt at rewriting history and minimizing the sacrifice tens of million of men but for variety, for options, to allow the increasing female playerbase to have a female avatar for fun. Battlefield 5 is not a historical recreation of some sort, it's a fucking video game.

I don't know much about that 2017 incident but I did read up and check on that American Idol stuff and honestly it's not that big of a deal. I have no excuse or explanation. John is better than this is but I have no idea why he's ignoring the truth and saying this bullshit. Maybe the context isn't completely there and he doesn't truly believe this but is talking about a specific accusation context. Maybe he's changed his mind since this happened. I don't know. I love you John but don't be thick. Everyone here is laying on the hate on him please don't judge him too harshly. I believe John is the type of person who does listen to well spoken and reasoned arguments and does change his mind and we have plenty of good reasons and arguments about this subject to give. John could be a useful person in spreading awareness of false rape claims if he was educated more on the subject.

I think here it's something stupid like assuming that women and children aren't suppose to be seen in general, only men, cause patriarchy. Not even considering that the same thing would happen if a woman was giving the interview. Yeah that's true.
