This is a valid feeling for when you just get your diagnosis. You’re still jn shock and it’s normal for negative feelings to arise when you get a life changing realisation. Hang in there, now that you know why you’ve been feeling different this whole time it will get easier

I was not true redpill, but I used to be a part of 9gag community which negatively shaped my worldview and gave me a lot of internalised misogyny. My only advise would be: have patience. It will take time to heal, and you might even miss this euphoria of getting male approval, but one day you will grow as a person and realise that you don’t need it. What helped me tremendously was realising the absurdity of the redpill worldview. I realised that their „rules” can be made reversed and you can sti…

I think it’s because there are a lot of people here that still have trouble with detoxing completely. When I changed my life and became a feminist I would still look at women differently and still hold some of the internalized misogyny even few years after I cut myself from all this bullcrap. It takes time, only now 3 years later I can say I’m 100% free from internalized misogyny, so maybe those here who post redpill stuff are just still in the process and needs to realise how their thinking is …

This is very simple yet very important to remember. I will even add that you will find women who actually have stereotypical traits such as loving makeup, being indecisive etc. BUT that is just a part of a person, and no one is 100% made of stereotypes. I’m super girly, I love makeup, I love art, my favourite color is pink and I have bubbly personality. At the same time I play bass guitar, I play video games, and I’m learning to code. I’m also having a hard time expressing my emotions My roommat…

Hypergamy theory forgets that there is a thing called having a type. My therapist made me realise that when I told her I wished I have blue eyes like the girl my crush was simping over. She then told me that of course there will be men who would never find me interesting, but there will be a guy who will fancy my brown eyes more than the blue eyes of that girl, because it’s all a matter of type. You don’t have to fight every guy, because people find different people attractive and the girl you f…

So you would want to push a button that makes you demisexual (it’s feeling attraction only to a person you have strong emotional bond with)

There are many places where you can make friends, there are game and tv series communities on discord and many others where you can feel like you belong. It doesn’t have to be red pill The purpose part, there are self improvement communities that don’t revolve around dating scene

So if I have a bad relationship with my father because he doesn’t give a shit about me then I’m a red flag for men?
/r/ExRedPill07/09/21 08:18 AM

I mean yeah, the core principal of going your own way that is „you don’t need a partner or sex to be happy” is something that comes to asexuals naturally, but it also benefits others Actually, I totally agree with MGTOWs on that men don’t need to marry or have sex to feel happy and complete. That’s true, being single and wanting to focus on yourself is totally ok! What ruined that movement is accusing women of marrying only for money. That is just not true and this blaming is really awful
/r/ExRedPill27/08/21 10:34 AM
3

Yup, and they couldn’t comprehend that people don’t get into relationship because sex and „it’s just evolution” and whatever they want to call it. I’m asexual, I look at alfa sigma full release male whatever and what do I feel? NOTHING. And this proves the point but in reality, even heterosexual women are not into every guy that is considered „hot” because people have preferences

MGTOWs are the best because you can shut them down with simple „I thought you were supposed to go your own way, why are you still here talking about women? I thought you guys were supposed to not care about us”

Ok now that I think about it I was more of „Not Like Other Girls” than the „Pick me Girl”, but still I encorage you to watch a good video analysis on youtube by Tara Mooknee called „the rise of the pick me girl memes”, that explains it well
/r/ExRedPill17/04/21 07:43 AM

It’s basically a woman who despise other women and mocks them in front of men because she thinks it makes her attractive in men’s eyes (yikes I know). Pick me girls are notorious for phrases like „I’m not like other girls”, „ugh other women are so stupid” or „I’m basically one of the dudes”. It’s why they are called pick me girls, the message of that behaviour is basically „see I’m different and I have the same shitty sexist mindset as you, so pick me as your girlfriend please!”

I’m detoxing myself. I used to be a pick me girl in my teenage years which I deeply regret now

Thanks, that explains it. So basically men have universal desire for being loved, accepted and appreciated but they have been taught that it’s only valuable when it comes from a woman that desires them? And asking for love is seen as weakness? That sucks, really. And it feels it’s something redpillers and MGTOW want to fight against but they just do it in the wrong way. Now I understand why they repeat all the time that men can find happiness independendly from women. I thought it was obvious bu…

I narrowed it down to specific group of men, true. Tho if you want to elaborate why you think that way I will read it, I’m genuinely curious because I want to learn and see a different point of view, possibly find out if I might be wrong Edit: ok now I see. Maybe they can’t see that it’s possible to have growth as a human and progress, sounds like mental health problems

And what is that „love language” they can understand but don’t get?
/r/ExRedPill14/03/21 06:49 PM

Also, I think it comes from false expectiations. I’m guessing their fathers told them it’ll be easy to get a wife (since it was easy for them), maybe even their mothers assured them, society told them that, media told them that. Now comes adulthood and the society changed, and wait what is that?! Men have to be decent human beings who have their shit at least somewhat together to get the girl?! Those damn women and their expectations hurr durr! Basically they were not prepared for that

I’m really sorry, it sound like a tough situation. Do you possibly know if your brother is dealing with some issues? It doesn’t excuse his behaviour in any way of course, but maybe there is a reason why he way so easily recruited by redpillers. From my experience, it’s mostly men who have mental health issues and are insecure who get into the redpill/MGTOW. Maybe he felt lonely and powerless in Montreal? Rough breakup? Rejection? Insecurity, depression?
/r/ExRedPill14/03/21 05:26 PM

True. I remember being on 9gag with username and avatar that didn’t imply my gender, so everyone assumed I was a man tho I’m a woman irl. Basically anytime I was defending women I got called simp, beta or cuck. So yeah, they won’t listen to anybody even other men
/r/ExRedPill14/03/21 05:17 PM

That explains why some women hate men, but it doesn’t excuse their behaviour

Ahh right I almost forgot, I need to keep my secrets of seduction away from mighty redpill hunters, otherwise they will find a way to resist my female tricks! I used to think all men are shit, because that was all I saw in my small town school in the middle of nowhere. My mind changed when I went to college, where men made 80% of the students in my major (sound design). I had opportunity to interact with men from different places, lots of them were intelligent, funny, caring, passionate. Only then I realised how stupid I was. You are young, I was like you when I was your age. When you meet people from a bunch of different places and environments, only…

Not knowingly. There are tons of women who are smart, funny and passionate and if you can’t see them it means you are looking only at shallow ones, which are the ones who draw the most attention to themselves. You may not even realise you’re doing that This is a reverse scenario of „why women only go for douchebags?”. Because douchebags go out of their way to appeal to women, since dating is their entire life. They are faking confidence and it’s effective, but still fake. So if a woman complain …

I agree with this post except one thing. Women being seen as emotional would be a privilege if it didn’t affect us negatively as well. There has been a lot of times where I wasn’t taken seriously in an argument because I’m „just being emotional” even though I was just saying what I don’t like and what I’m against without getting angry I think that society treat us all wrong. We all have stereotypes attached to us and while they might be useful in some situations they are mostly harmful. I don’t …

And how are you supposed to move past TRP if you use their terminology, like „Chad”, and assume things about me without knowing me, or the guy messanging me? You are not on a good way to recovery. The OP clarified what he meant, I thanked him and agreed, this is how you move on from TRP You seriously think having, as you called it, „clean” online profile which I so happen to have would scare simps away? That indeed clarified, thanks! I do agree with the options part. Sadly, our society left men with this pressure to find a girlfriend asap because single men get this awful stigma when they’re single for too long. It really sucks

I was afraid because I knew him in real life and I was scared he will get angry at me or that things will get weird, and blocking him would just make things worse. At one point I finished the music school where we met so I could block him with less guilt and worry because we would never see each other again, but I still felt bad for doing that. I didn’t specify the reason why I was afraid, I’ll go ahead and change it because if it changes the context of my message then that is my bad. I didn’t w…

I want to correct one thing: we don’t feel entitled because of men not leaving us alone (especially online). The whole „comfort in having a small cohort of dudes” is false. It’s nothing fun, it’s creepy as fuck and unwanted. When a guy kept texting me even though I literally said NO do you seriously think I felt happy? No, I was annoyed and scared to open messenger because we knew each other irl and I didn’t want him to get angry at me or make things weird, and many of my female friends share si…

I don’t known you personally, but from your post I can conclude that if all you see are women going after douchebags, that means you yourself are going after those specific girls that want a guy who is a douchebag AND THAT MEANS you want a girl with problems. Because only girls who are emotionally disturbed go after bad men, and somehow those are the only women you see, even though there are tons of other women, with emotional stability, and you just don’t notice them

MGTOW reminds me of that meme from The Fairly OddParents where the girl is saying „I’m ignoring you” and when she doesn’t get any reaction she screams „Don’t ignore me I’m ignoring you!!”. This is how it works basically

And they have this mentality that eastern women (slavic, asian) are submissive because we are not „rotten like those leftist western women”. And it always makes me laugh, they have no idea how much strenght it takes to be able to live outside of the first world countries
/r/ExRedPill06/01/21 10:45 AM

Mental illness in general is overlooked when it comes to finding out why they can’t find a mate. Lack of social skills + untreated mental illness = not a chance. Not because the „women are bad”, not because of how they look, it’s not their hight or finacial status. It’s their issues, and I’m sure they would find a girlfriend if they just get help. I had literally zero attention from the opposite sex when I was depressed, and I’m a woman. It changed after I got better

I would suggest therapy. If you struggle with anxiety and constantly think about sex to the point where it becomes unhealthy, therapy can help you with that. I can tell you that the only time in my life when I felt that the opposite sex was interested in me was that short period of happiness and confidence right before the pandemic when somehow my mental health got a little better. So yeah, therapy is the key my dude. Having a girlfriend will not heal you, you will still be anxious even in a rel…

I will say look at it from the opposite perspective. My experience on dating apps as a woman is mostly creeps, unwanted dick picks and simps that would not leave me alone after I said NO. Incels are not telling you the entire truth about women, yes we have more DMs but that is just part of the truth. What they don’t tell you is that a lot of those „tons of DM” we get are just creepy. So by the time you actually find a decent guy you have already a set mentality that he will be another weird guy …
