Social skills can basically be boiled down to: "take an interest in people and help them feel good about themselves" Listen more than you talk Show you're listening with intelligent responses Ask interested follow up questions Don't be unkind to or about people Do that, all the time, with everyone you interact with. Will it make you bang a supermodel tomorrow? No. But will it make you more socially engaged, and therefore better at making friends and getting dates? Yes, over time it will. If it d…

I don’t be think I can offer tips as such, but I would say it sounds like you’re on the right track. You seem to have a genuine desire and a willingness to work at it.

i just have insecurities thinking girls won't get over their ex and will they actually love me for my personality and for me? You absolutely 100% will never find someone who loves you for your personality and for you if you pretend to be someone else. No one is going to fall in love with the real you if they don’t meet the real you.

Is that a bad thing?

And has it led to fulfilling relationships of the type you want? If the answer is a wholehearted ‘yes’ then great, good for you, but I suspect it isn’t or you wouldn’t be in this thread. None of my business, but I think it might help you to really try to understand why you would prefer a partner who valued you for your appearances.

You don’t want to be redpill because of it “ruining my life”. You list a load of redpill ideas. When multiple people tell you other ways of viewing relationships, you reject them. You back that up by quoting a load of redpill ideas. You worry about going back to the redpill being your only option. But that sucks, because of redpill “ruining my life” Mate - you are ruining your life by your own admission. There is a way out which you are actively rejecting in favour of continuing to ruin your lif…

You’d rather your partner thought of you as good-looking than compatible? Why is that?

Anyone who believes a newborn baby has ‘sexual value’ probably has much deeper problems than they realise.

You're on a sub for people working hard to not be misogynist. Don't be surprised that defending the most famous misogynist in the world, who has just been arrested for rale and sex trafficking, is not popular

Throughout this post + thread, you yourself have said all the following things: 1) You are morally deficient 2) The way you behave seriously damages people you care about 3) The way you behave destroys your relationships 4) The way you behave doesn't make you happy 5) You refuse to change the way you behave I don't know what you think you're going to hear from a stranger that is going to clarify things more for you. For as long as point 5 is true, points 1-4 will be true. You've done the difficu…

This is it. So many people citing "evolutionary psychology" to talk about competition for mates and/or resources completely fail to understand that in humans altruism has just as strong an evolutionary basis as selfishness. TLDR; we evolved to work as a team

This actually kind of sucks to hear. It means we can't be open about insecurities, like at all. That's not quite true, we're talking about the context of very early stages, the first dates and flirting phase, we're talking about a person you barely know. Very few people are likely to talk openly about their insecurities with a stranger regardless of sexual attraction. You still can, and should, talk openly about insecurities with a friend, a partner, even a not-quite-a-relationship-but-youre-sta…

Someone who makes a post like this and truly believes it is either doomed to damage himself for the rest of his life, or doomed to damage women for the rest of his life. I really hope it's only the former

I’d rather die single than marry a guy like you. 60% of posts in this sub solved by this one simple sentence

I'm saying I don't care what these men do. They're allowed to judge these women, I don't agree with them morally and I wish they didn't, but it isn't my right or in my power to stop them feeling that way. But if that attitude means lots of women then think they're a bit of a dick and don't want to go out with them, then their sadness about that is not a problem that I care about solving.

The real issue is why you would ever get married as a man in the first place. There is literally no upside only a downside to marriage for men. There are actually some upsides, it's just that in order to understand them you need to be capable of forming functioning non-transactional relationships with people

The men who judge those women the most seem to be the ones most actively complaining online that they can't find a female partner It kind of feels like their problem

No one loves the same way anyone else does. Just as every individual’s personality is unique (although it may share some things in common with some others), so is their personal way of loving. You need to define “high value” before anyone can attempt to answer this question. I suspect that’s impossible though - different people value different things, it’s entirely personal. I can’t find a definition for that word. Assuming you mean “hypergamous”, relating to “hypergamy”? That seems to mean peop…

If it took this little for you to make an active choice to be a total cunt to people, you weren’t actually nice to begin with

It’s not a binary, nice Vs not nice. There’s a million different facets to personality, if you are (genuinely) nice and still people don’t find you attractive, the answer probably lies elsewhere.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
