Yeah. It's not like there's ever been a documented instance of police ignoring a prevalent and persistent sex crime. Like a child sex ring in the UK. If it doesn't happen on a large scale then a single incident of it happening is even harder to believe.

Yeah, it's risk aversion. The same reason women make better investors or money managers or are less likely to die in workplace accidents even when adjusted for their jobs. Although horseback riding is dangerous and female dominated so there is obviously also some cultural baggage affecting choices.

It's not ok IMO. Relationships between people with large age gaps are far more likely to be abusive and parasitic. To the point where it's pretty much the rule rather than the exception.

Nah. The ringleader gets more time and is almost always considered more guilty. As someoen who knows about these kinds of threesomes, the chance that the wife was anywhere near as involved in the coercion as the husband is pretty much zero.

I'm honestly wondering how you came to that conclusion. Reading the article it's a he said she said case as most rape cases turn out to be. It's nice to say that you believe someone is innocent until proven guilty but it sounds like you don't have the same standards of evidence for one rape and perjury.
