Personally, I think this is bad advice. If a dude is so anxious and worried about some social construct, they have a much deeper issues going on around themselves and other people. I believe a person can learn all the in's and out, social cues, confidence, etc without having to result to lying to themselves and others. Sex is not rocket science. How a person carries themselves matters far more than some construct they can lie about.

Yeah both people are pieces of shit, both Men and Women who do this place more emphasis on gaining social points to look "funny" at the expense of their significant other.

Keyword JOKE. Hahaa, it's just a prank. I'll say all these horrible things that literally affect the entire relationship, but it's just a joke so it's okay to keep saying constantly.

They already said it has nothing to do with gold-diggers. If you want an example, some women tell their man to never shave their beard off, some even jokingly say, "I'll end the relationship; you're so ugly without a beard." That's no real love at all.

Depends on the job and work, but for what we're talking about you're absolutely right. These sorts of jobs (in my opinion) should just be a placeholder, we're just there to get paid and earn some cash, while trying to figure out and advance in life.

This is why I try to not make friends or be memorable in the workplace. I'm there for work, I don't want any expectations placed on me

As others have said, both. Sometimes people can be a hopeless cause and be stuck the way they are for many reasons, but with discipline and smart effort and time, anyone can become an alpha since it's a mindset. It just takes overcoming your own obstacles, some people have more or less to overcome.

If it's in good taste and in an appropriate setting, sure everyone likes to hear a compliment! Especially if they accept those kinds of comments online (if it aligns with what they post).

I would want to say yes, granted I'm a dude, however I feel men also experience it if they post and keep up with their appearances in public. People may not directly say these comments out loud, but it can be safely assumed people are thinking some of the same thoughts as one would see online. Edit: What's more important is that these individuals accept and agree with these comments, meaning they have a strong sense of self. People can always say pretty words, but none of those opinions matter i…

I kinda hate this idea, but then again relationships and society is all about social matters, maybe I'm looking at relationships the wrong way and am a bit detached.

I actually kind of enjoy it, it's a menial task but a necessary one. If we have to do it anyway I don't see it much as a chore, but a time to just zone out and focus away from a demanding life.

100 in 4 years would be a very high number, that's a new person every ~2.1 weeks. 24 would be kind of high too imo, that's a new person every 2 months over a span of 4 years, that does not sound like a very stable life. Edit: Grammar.

I'm not sure what you're trying to prove here, of course they would? Those are extreme addictions we're talking about. And I guess that's cool you pointed out a spelling mistake on the internet lol. Not sure why that had to be a point you brought up. I think you're trying to rip apart people's mannerisms and etiquettes. Would you say the people on r/WallStreetBets to be insane people? If so you're taking things on the internet too seriously.

I'm a bit confused, why would you bring nofap into this, what's wrong with it? I think whatever that red pill philosophy is is a bit much and over eccentric. The only example of people I can think of that fit your criteria are players, asexual males, and people with a low sex drive who rather focus on other aspects of life than play with bodily fluids.

Hell no, we should all strive for equality, although we can't ignore the realities we live in now, there are complex social and gender norms that have a lot of weight and biases that do affect our day to day life.

Lol they do, but nah I would never do that to anyone lmao, that's too mean. Sometimes I'll just lean and tower over them asking, "How's the weather down there." Haha

Weight and height are kind of different, but the're same in being a bit superficial, unless someone is morbidly obese. I'm a tall dude and I kind of cringe hearing girls wanting to date someone who's 8+ inches taller than them, minimum. You're right though I don't really care, everyone has preferences, and it's not really affecting me that's their life. However, it's not a double standard for me since I find tall woman to be attractive, I want to be a power couple lol
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/20 07:29 AM

Uhh no, and you're painting everything so black and white, the real world isn't like that. We all want the same things, sexuality just adds a bit of nuance to the form we receive it in. In the end we're all still only human. Edit: If someone wants a hookup and another wants an actual relationship, then the two should never have gotten into a relationship in the first place..

They all see it as a meme and an excuse to not go to school lol, a field day to stay at home. I do feel bad for my neighbor who's trying to sell their home, the housing market will go into a recession, maybe they will get a lucky buyer.

100% agree with this as a fellow purple pill man. Basically don't be a SIMP! I used to be one, I put others' priorities above mine bc it also made me happy, but not fullfilled. Niceness is a bonus, mutual respect should be a standard.

You can question their advice, but saying they're wrong and trying to have a debate isn't what an advice subreddit is about. You take it or leave it, if you have follow up questions that's where the "questioning" is applicable. You don't have to agree with the advice, that's always optional.

I just finished reading the guidelines, and I stand by it. They're making sure the questions are specific, and given the hostility I've seen and heard from TRP and FDS, it makes sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/20 11:52 PM

I haven't read the guidelines yet, but this seems like a really cool idea (imo). These people are in the dating pool, and many will share varrying and nuanced beliefs. For genuine, civil questions this is interesting at the very least.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/20 11:49 PM

Yeah same, empathy is a powerful tool. Almost anyone is capable of it by the simple fact alone we're all human, it allows us to understand one another regardless of gender.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/20 11:46 PM
2

Exactly, it just really depends on the dude, how they carry themselves and what their desires and lifestyles are. We all have varrying levels for sexual intimacy and attachment, there isn't a one fits all glove solution out there. What works for one dude won't always work for another, or sometimes at a given moment in someone's life.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/20 11:35 PM

It really depends on the dude, I'm a virgin, and have never dated anyone yet. I don't do hookups and personally don't feel ready for a serious romantic relationship quite yet. So, how do I feel? Just fine actually, if I get urges I can masturbate or focus all that energy on more productive activities like working out and doing chores. I don't need to find a romantic relationship when I have great friends and people I can easily have a conversation with online. There's so much more to life than j…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/20 11:23 PM

I wouldn't mind at all, sex and a plastic dildo are two separate things, you can't replace yourself with masturbation. I find sexuality to be important, if the chemistry isn't there and that's how she feels and leaves, well then I guess we're looking for different things. She or me will leave, not my loss. It would mean someone wasn't being honest with what they wanted.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/20 05:12 AM

The same goes for me too, it was all platonic (no sex or relationships). We were all there for each other and enjoyed each others' company as friends all through high school, we were all pretty much honor students. I was quite naive too and of course innocent, so I never pushed for anything or went after them, just like they were too lol, so we all got along well. So no relevance.

So what purpose does having the man pay for a date mean for them? That doesn't make a man inherently a "high value" guy if just for doing so. Wouldn't that make the girl a "low value" girl then to a guy's eyes?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/20 11:12 PM

Sometimes if it's lowstakes and someone you just barely met, it's just easier to ghost. Some people are piss poor in handling "rejection", I understand that sounds hypocritical, however they take it so personal I rather not be emotionally abused and punched down with them if they're going to feel sad anyway. Of course this isn't all instances, you can generally get a feel on how someone will react.

You're not a gold digger, I believe people should date in their income bracket in most cases. So in your case, money wouldn't even be an issue, I say it's not unrealistic for a guy to pay for your meals, in your case, I don't want to make a blanket statement for all.

Damn dude that's awesome, I was too caught up with girls and it really made me distracted, I learned the hard way, I was pretty much bending myself everyway to impulses and distractions bc I didn't understand and was naive. Look at FDS, all the memes do is make the sub look trashy lol. It's better this way, for serious and thoughtful discussion. Solaris brought up good reasons why it makes it trashy.

I like it, it's a chill, mellow song. So much of our life revolves around relationships and finding someone, we're constantly being pressured and told this is what you need for one to have happiness, that's just a blanket statement. We need to feel comfortable and discover life by ourselves without being tied down first, without those social pressures trying to bend us away, they're distractions if you give in involuntarily that play you; own your life! You'll know when you're ready.

It really is! 100% true. It's a bit underrated, I saw this cool chart that shows the 12 elements that go into Emotional Intelligence
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/20 07:06 AM

I think they're solid, a nice way to actually have a conversation with someone and get to know them more in-person to test the waters. Coffee, quick bagel or snack at any shop is warm and welcoming in my opinion. You could go for a more fuller meal, but I don't see it as necessary unless you're both on lunch breaks or something similar.

High value based on what? I don't care about sex, I'm a virgin until I get married. Most guys would assume the opposite of what you said realistically then, "oh no sex? She must be getting it somewhere, she's not worth it,"... Okay I'm not going to take your comments seriously, you sound like an angry dude who's not even part of that sub, just talking crap about them. Anyway, try to have a nice day if that's possible for you. I should have looked at your profile first.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/20 10:57 PM

Is that really what the sub is about? That's not 100% realistic, I would never date a women who saw men like that. Life is too short for existential matters like that, I want to share and grow with someone, not look at a woman as a financial investment with a transaction.. That's called gold digging, can be a man or woman, it doesn't matter what their sex if that's their only goal.

I don't feel lied to, sexual activities are pretty simple in my opinion, what's there inherently hard about it? It's pretty much PIV, foreplay, and kinks. Emotional intelligence is something a lot of people, both guys and girls, have a hard time grasping, let alone to actually being aware and applying this knowledge in the moment. Sexuality just adds a bit of spice and fun to the equation. I believe most people looking for a serious relationship are more concerned with the social and emotional a…

/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/20 03:02 AM
1

This boggles my mind lol, but I do appreciate the parting warning. I couldn't care less if the girl was a virgin or not, it depends on how the person carries themselves. Body counts shouldn't limit or determine who a person is in that moment, only if they've succumbed to their past actions and allowed the bad attributes to take hold, then they are seen as "ugly" and an unattractive individual. And thanks dude! I hope you do well bro in your endeavors! Have a blessed life.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/20 07:18 PM

I believe that, and the same for me since we both seem to have differing outlooks that make up ourselves. Lol if a woman actually thought like that she clearly wouldn't be worth my time, someone so narrow minded is unattractive, that'd be a red flag for what I'm looking for from a respectable individual. I like that truth you said though about women want what other women want there is truth to that, just as it's not good to play all your cards at once, gotta make a part of you still mysterious t…

Dude you're saying so many blanket statements and broad generalizations, do you think the world is out to get you or something, it seems you're taking on such an extreme end of a spectrum to maybe protect yourself. After all, the social interactions we have with those around us, both online and in person, do influence and shape our sense of self. The world is not so black and white as you wish to think.

Thank you, I already knew this too, I don't know what some of these dudes are talking about. I think they're really in the mindset of competition and hookups. There will be countless of people who we'll click well with, it's just a matter of if you're both looking for the same things in life.

I haven't been in that scenario yet, I just remember the time in highschool when I was naive and a prude, I placed any girl I found attractive on a pedestal, pretty much a nice guy and pushover, if you haven't been given a chance to be sexual with a woman then you're most likely going to be like that. With that old mindset if you lied, damn that's sure as hell is going to backfire on you lol, there was no confidence back then, until you go through your "awakening" phase and actually look at real…

On some things like that, I totally agree with you especially for anything competitive or a skill(also that's really awesome and cool hobby you picked up, that was interesting to read). I understand I'm not going to be the best my first time, not even close lol, but for what I'm looking for it's not a competition or skill you really need to do for a serious romantic relationship, like a real partnership and support, not some casual hook up where it would matter a lot more obviously per say. Don't worry I'm not, I have a pretty strong sense of self. And it seems you do as well for tolerating some of these outlandish opinions. I really don't think virginity matters in regards to guys. What really matters, and this could be said about women too, is how a person carries themselves, basically how they let their experiences affect and define them as an individual, could be positive or negative, it's easy to spot. When I said confident, I just meant not being anxious or unsure with your situations or actions, be it yourself and or around women. Shit, I really don't know how to express I've gone through it and dismissed all the naivety and social expectations. I'm a hardcore empath, I treat text-based communication as real as in-person communication. You're right it does, if you're submissive or shy and don't take the lead with a confident mindset that's going to be a slight turn off for most women I feel. I love how you said "switch" haha, that's when we really start to explore and I guess enter our "hoe" phase, I've gone about it differently but I feel I've still gone through that same phase bc I used to be a prude. I'm very new to this Sub, I don't even have a good grasp on what being red or blue pilled means(I'mma go learn now). I'm not going to tout virginity as something attractive, that'd be weird lol. The same can be said for women, giving in too early with heavy issues is going to scare anyone away if it wasn't asked for.

For a serious romantic relationship? I hardly believe that, when that journey you share with someone can be and is part of the sexual adventure you both would have together.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/20 09:26 PM

I wouldn't be DTF though, I would be looking for a relationship not a hookup. If the subject was brought up that's when I'll say it, but you're right it's not something I'd purposely bring up.

Woah hold up, what's wrong with being a virgin? I'm a male virgin, I'm not going to lie saying I've slept with women when I haven't, and that lie for most I imagine would backfire. I personally would feel comfortable with saying the truth, I've got nothing to hide. And I'm not at all clueless about sex, being a virgin does not always mean we're naive and a prude.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/20 09:19 PM

This might explain why I've never been in a relationship yet, I'm not sure or comfortable yet to consider bringing in someone into my life like that on some whim. I rather patiently wait until I am ready to venture into the dating scene.

Ignore those people who are giving you crap, people want different things in life and there are relationships where sex isn't a cornerstone to a relationship. If they can't understand that well that's on them, they shouldn't care since it's between you and your significant other.

It really isn't a big deal, there are guys who do wait till marriage, or aren't into bodily or sexual stuff. I think what'll increase a new romantic relationship's success is being clear with what you both want in the beginning, I think it's okay to be straightforward and talk about these topics. Doesn't have to be right away, but it should be made clear.

I say this bc I would switch from spending too much time on YouTube, too much time on finding conversations with people, and watching too much anime, or maybe instead of a connection those were just tools to let us escape from reality.
