I'm glad we can agree that saying they're too busy to date after they just spent all this time dragging you along is straight up BULLSH*T. They just decided we're not worth their time anymore but they don't wanna say that because they're a "nice guy". I've got that excuse far too many times lol I had to break up with a man over text because he was always too busy to pick up the phone let alone meet up. He still had time to play his dumb ass game tho 😀

I was so warped by the internet and an ex of mine to thinking I would enjoy the more violent stuff. When I was eventually talked into doing it in person I felt so AWFUL. I felt violated, confused and hurt. I can see now after talking to so many men that their consumption of porn creates this sick fantasy world they feel they need in order to get off.. and how often they try to manipulate women into being more "kinky" or else they're deemed a prude. I'm totally okay with being a prude if it means…

Yeaaah I definitely got lost in that not so much judging others but I felt like I had to go to some extremes to really impress men because I was so brain washed by porn.. it wasn't till I was put in a position to try it that I had a mental breakdown and realized it was NOT for me. I prefer loving slow sex tyvm.

Lol we're only judging men who are shit and treat women poorly yet we're misandrist?? How is building self respect, independence and getting what you deserve so wrong? I think people just don't wanna face the fact that the men they've invested in were not worth the effort so they can avoid being alone and having to face themselves. It's sad as hell the amount of women brain washed into accepting the poor quality that is the majority of the dating pool.

Yeaaaah I learned early on to not get involved with someone who has substance abuse problems. There is never any excuse for it and I know by being involved I'd just be hurting myself. My little sister dated a guy who would repeatedly get so wasted he would shit, piss and vomit on himself. He did all this while living in our house rent free. I had never hated someone as much as I hated him and my relationship with my sister was never the same after that. It wasn't even the drinking that was a fin…

I don't get why they're so attached to their sweaty spunky saggy crotch tits.

Ugh I love this subreddit it gives me so much insight into crap I've put up with and how totally unnecessary that shit was. I love how many times I've doubted and questioned my bad feelings towards something someone (mostly men) did to come on here and realize I had EVERY RIGHT to feel that way. Being able to understand and pinpoint these toxic behaviors has made a drastic difference in my life. You guys are the BEST.

Hi I was wondering how I can get my title changed? This isn't a throwaway account for me and I'm frequently commenting on posts. It's minor but it'd be cool to get something different! Thank you.

I realized recently when dating that a possible reason for me consistently low quality men (besides the fact a lot of them are low quality) is that subconsciously I relate to the state with which they're currently in. My self worth self esteem is affected because I am not financially stable, I am constantly struggling with my mental illness, and I don't have any real purpose to my life.. so when I see these seemingly stable men I will write them off in fear of being judged and unworthy. I'm not …

God everything in this is 100% the truth. I've been shamed for men who've hurt me. I've been told by "nice guys" that me not being into them must mean I'm into assholes. It's the most exhausting fucking bullshit ever.

I have never experienced this before they sound like real douche canoes. Who the heck says that shit and expects it make you wanna stay let alone continue to have sex with them??? That's some manipulative shit of them putting you down then claiming to love you.. like they're try to wreck your self esteem to make you docile and faithful to their shit. G R O S S.

Soooooooo effin true! I've noticed a huge difference in how I'm treated based on if they cleaned their place for me or not.

Yeaah I decided a while ago I will never marry anyone that isn't platonic. I want an actual partner not the love of my life. Someone who will support me not support me under conditions of attraction or "love". I feel both are never long term and are meant to fizzle out at some point. I'd only marry though for legal reasons if necessary.. otherwise m e h. I refuse to also have kids with any man outside of a donor. I'd much rather raise kids with a great friend and my mom and grandma then put em t…

I'm the not so fun side of neurodivergent 'cause I have never attracted anyone with my mental illnesses as far as I know. I definitely know it's a thing I just might be on the boring spectrum of it lmao. I've definitely dated some guys who had the same vibe as 500 days of summer so effin gross.. they'd always build up a fantasy around me that had nothing to do with me entirely based off the most shallow parts of me like knowing or sharing their shitty obscure tastes in music or film. Like ugh yo…

If they're constantly smoking pot in ALL or most of their photos.. I immediately am like NOPE. When weed is that ingrained in their life their personality tends to be super freaking dull.

I mean it's probably obvious but when they post only one photo, when their photos are just the worst quality (blurry and shakey), when they never have any full body or half body shots, always on their couch, and angles from above like a teenage girl in the early 2000s.

When my mom was married to my sperm donor back in.. 1989 she was 19 years old and he was 23? They had planned to have a family together planned to have me and while pregnant my sperm donor of a father was attending college not working as my mom worked 2 jobs and came home to clean and cook for him while pregnant. 6 months into the pregnancy in the parking lot at his school he broke up with her in the car saying he wanted a divorce because she wasn't being the best wife she could possibly be. My …

I'm getting like flashbacks to all the men who I've wasted time explaining shit to and friends who've gone through the same thing. It's so common.. The amount of time and effort I've put into making them understand for them to be constantly perplexed and manipulative.. Damn. My most recent relationship I did this without really putting much thought into it I was just DONE to the point I did not care to explain it to him anymore. He was so confused and trying to understand why and I just asked hi…

My family told me to get over my cousin molesting me because it didn't go so far as rape. They don't get why I still don't like or trust him because it's family and it's in the past. I have to see him every year and made to feel like I'm the bitch. He's their precious baby boy whose been through a lot.

Seems so exhausting to me to have to act so strategically in order to keep a man around or is it preventing future pain and/or rejection? Is it a reality we must accept about men or is one whose worthwhile gonna be able to take that shit and not be a little b*tch about it? (excuse my language haha) To not be true to myself in order to gain the respect or interest of a man makes me feel sick to my stomach yet it seems to be a common theme in dating. I realize I get a lot of men who disappear but …

I legit apologized to my date who sexually assaulted me for "crying and freaking out" because my brain didn't and couldn't process what just happened.
