It is a well-studied phenomenon with these kinds of programs that they amplify all biases in your data, even if you didn't know they were there. Programs like this must be trained on a dataset, because they're too complicated for humans to program now. The datasets used to make them are absolutely massive, and the training takes emormous amounts of processing power, but the result is a simpler set of heuristics you can run on a smaller machine. "Transgenderism" is not listed in the DSM, largely because that would be a very wide term which would lump together loads of people who shouldn't be.
