Original author here. Glad you gents enjoyed it. I actually thought the movie was far more pro-male than the vast majority of what Hollywood/the MSM usually produces. Carrell's character responds to the divorce by sacking up and taking control of his life, instead of realizing that he has nothing to live for once his wife divorces him, as one would expect from this sort of film. The wife is also portrayed at least somewhat unsympathetically. Most importantly - and sneakily - the film doesn't act…
