There’s another study that confirms that 95% of men used coercive tactics to have sex with women. Here’s the link: https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.1177/08862605261432630

People dismissing your opinions and experiences while shitting on your worldview. I wonder who also deals with that? Maybe every woman ever.

In the United States, which is supposed to be seen as one of the most egalitarian and free countries, marital rape, didn’t become illegal in all 50 states until the 90s. Which means your parents were alive during the time when your grandfather could legally rape your grandmother. This is because rape wasn’t seen as a violent crime against the woman. It was seen as a property crime against the man. It is still this way in many countries. Women in the Middle East aren’t legally allowed to drive. T…

It is an extreme measure, but if this is the worst oppression men will ever face, they’re still pretty privileged. Try being a woman in a Middle Eastern country and we’ll see how privileged women are.

Given that the laws have been (and in many countries) still are oppressing women to much worse degrees, and this “oppressive law” is making you not do something you already shouldn’t do, I think you’ll be ok. If you treat women like people instead of subhuman, this law will not affect you. I think it’s sad that we had to take things to this measure to be treated with the same human decency a man would be treated with. If you want to live in a country where you can be a misogynistic dick, move to…

Normally the double standard is the other way around. Men’s sexuality is encouraged which women’s sexuality is shamed. Now you have a glimpse of what womanhood is like.

Men, women don't have unrealistic or high expectations. We just want you to live up to the standards you hold us to. (Emotional availability, cooking, cleaning, childcare, putting in effort in sex, putting in effort into your appearance, being forgiving, wanting to do nice things for us out of the goodness in your heart, not because you feel like you have to, and doing more than just the bare minimum.) We're tired of giving more than what we receive. You expect women to live up to standards that…

Whenever I talk about women’s issues, I get silenced by men’s issues and then when I try to explain that women actually have it worse and they can’t come up with a counter argument, they say it’s not a pissing contest. It wasn’t until you made it one and lost.

Men criticize teenage girls all the time. “Be more lady like” “dress modestly” “don’t be a whore” “don’t be so bitchy”. There are a lot of times where people would criticize teenage girls for being moody, wear certain clothes, being liberal, being interested in being sexually active, cussing too much.

Talk to hr about it and be transparent. If you go to hr out of your own freewill before you’re called, you’ll increase your chances of being heard out and not punished. Also talk to the girl about it and ask why she considered it harassment. Sometimes men genuinely do overstep boundaries and get involved when they shouldn’t. Also if you want to talk to a girl that has something to deal with her private parts, even if it’s not in a sexual way, be mindful of your tone and vocabulary. Women have to…

You don’t know who could be a victim. We’re on a public platform where there are a lot of people. Anyone here could be a victim.

I’m not muddying the seriousness of it, I’m recognizing the seriousness of it do I’m censoring myself out of respect for victims. When someone goes through a traumatic experience like that, you have to treat them with care and sensitivity since you never know what could trigger a trauma response.
/r/MensRights24/07/25 03:16 PM

It’s called actually giving a fuck enough to be considerate of victims since the actual word can be a trigger word for them. I guess you never had to worry about you having to deal with that so you don’t give a fuck.

When women make weird, predatory comments, they should be held accountable. Men and women should be equally free to express their sexuality and equally held accountable when they go too far. I’ve seen too many men’s rights activists complain about the stuff I mentioned in the previous comment. About how women have too high of standards (we’re holding you to the same standards you hold us too ), women are bitches when they reject us (because you don’t take no for an answer and act entitled to us)…
/r/MensRights24/07/25 03:06 PM

Then why are men always calling women bitches and whores whenever they get rejected? Why do men say shit like “you can’t make a whore into a housewife” (implying that women exist to serve men). And men are complaining that women don’t want to cook and clean for them anymore. Like yeah we obviously want you to put in the same effort you expect us to put in. We’re not your maid that you get to have sex with. We your partners that you should be willing to do this for as well. Since you want to spli…

I’m not saying it’s ok, I’m explaining why poor people steal. Do you have a little sister or daughter? If so, would you trust a random man that neither of you know to be alone with her where no one can hear her scream. Where if he wanted to, he could 🍇 and murder her and get away with it because no one would find out.
/r/MensRights24/07/25 03:23 AM

Those statistics are circumstantial. A lot of black people are poor and poor people might resort to stealing for survival. Also if you were with someone you don't know, would you leave your wallet unattended, no because they could steal that. Would you trust a man you or your daughter/little sister/little cousin don’t know to be alone with your daughter/little sister/little cousin? Would you trust your baby sister to be alone with a random man or would you feel protective because you know how me…

Gender inequality to you is not being able to use women for their bodies and services (sex, cooking, cleaning, childcare, paying the bills), having to put in the same effort you expect your girl friend to put in, and actually being held accountable when you treat women like sex objects because you feel entitled to women’s bodies and you don’t like that women have bodily autonomy.

Why would I as a woman not want to be alone with a random man I don’t know who could take me somewhere no one can hear me scream and could 🍇 and murder me? My chances of survival are important I guess, but your ego and feelings are way more important so I’m gonna get into a car with a man idk to protect his feelings. Wish me luck.

I’m saying how women raising their standards and not tolerating being objectified is not something men should be complaining about. I’m not looking at the suicide rates and saying “we should increase those numbers” I’m talking about stuff that has nothing to do with men’s suicide rates or male 🍇 victims. How the hell did you get “I don’t care about make 🍇 victims and the suicide rate” from I don’t care if men complain about feminism. That has to take some champion level of mental gymnastics to d…

Like I said, voice those issues. Spread awareness about that stuff. Talk about actual issues that badly affects men (male sa victims not being taken seriously, male suicide rates, etc). Use this community to talk about these issues, not talk shit about feminists who just want their boyfriends to put in an equal amount of effort into their relationships or wanting men to be held accountable when they objectify women.

The post was talking about how an anti men app was number one and increased the risk of false accusations. No where does it talk about male victims of 🍇. It talks about how men are afraid of being abused of 🍇. Statistically, victims are more likely to stay silent and not report abuse out of the fear of being accused of lying than make false allegations against men. The frequency of false allegations are just more propaganda made up by anti feminists.

Like I said before. I care about those issues. Talk about those issues. Talk about actual issues men face. Not feminism. Feminism didn’t cause those issues. Being expected to conform to rigid norms that don’t allow you to be vulnerable caused that. If you talk about suicide rates and male 🍇 victims, most women would listen and advocate for you. If you say shit like “feminism is poison” “women don’t want to cook, clean, give their bodies to me, submit to me, raise my kids for me, pay half the bil…

I want men to put an equal amount of effort into relationships, to stop treating me like an object for their convenience and pleasure (cooking, cleaning, childcare, therapy, and sex. All while not being willing to do the same for us), for men to be held accountable when they do something bad, and for men to stop being on women’s asses about everything and judging women for the same shit they do. That’s why I am a feminist. Because I actually care about justice and I’m not gonna let men treat me …

I was empathetic for men but they never advocated for women, NEVER. Any time women just want to be heard and address their issues, they’re shut out and made out to be bitches. I’m tired of men’s problems always being prioritized and fixed while they continue to ignore women’s problems. All I’m doing is trying to get men to understand how women feel when men dismiss our issues. I actually do care, but I want you to know how it feels when someone acts indifferent.

I’m only treating men the way they treat women. Look at how men act in the comments section whenever women spread awareness about 🍇, domestic violence, and mother’s mental health issues. They all say they don’t care and that we’re self victimizing. I’m giving you a taste of your own medicine. You want me to give a shit about your problems, you have to give a shit about our problems. Men’s rights activists just bitch about feminism because they don’t want put in the same amount of effort into rel…

Now this is an actual fair critique. Both men and women should be able to express their sexuality as long as they’re being respectful and consensual. There shouldn’t be double standards when it comes to sexuality. If it’s wrong for one gender, it’s wrong for the other.
/r/MensRights24/07/25 01:13 AM

Yeah. It’s definitely the men that are getting taken advantage of and exploited. Not the women who do sex work so they can survive and afford to feed their children. Let’s see what’s worse. Men masturbating and having a great time, or a single mom who’s just trying to provide for her family getting treated like an object that’s not worth anything more than male masturbation and who are at risk of getting an std or 🍇ed.

It’s because when men express sexuality, they objectify women and feel entitled to their bodies. Most if not all women have dealt with an asshole man because he couldn’t control his horniness. At best a man might cheat on you, demand nudes as if you owed him that, or stare at you like a piece of meat. On average, they cat call you or smack you on the ass, and at worst, SA or 🍇. Very few women let their sexuality violate someone else’s body or autonomy plus for centuries women would get slut sham…

I care about actual problems men face such as people not taking male victims seriously and the male suicide rates. I’m talking about the men who get pissed off when women hold them accountable for being assholes or who complain about the male loneliness epidemic which is them expecting women to do everything for them (cooking, cleaning, childcare, emotional labor, and sex, while thinking they should get praised for the bare minimum and are surprised when women don’t want to date them because wom…

Women spread awareness about 🍇. Men bitch about not being able to catcall women and smack women on the ass without being held accountable. We want equality, you want to be able to treat women like shit. We’re not the same. Also most of men’s problems are self inflicted.

Statistics do show that even though both the man and the woman work full time, the woman still does most of the housework and childcare. If you don’t believe me, look it up.

What if instead of doing specific gender roles both people talk about the mental load they deal with and both people take initiative in both areas. Meaning men do stereotypical feminine tasks without being asked and women do stereotypical masculine tasks without being asked. That way they can work as a team. My grandparents do things that way. There’s no roles, just teamwork.

I understand where you’re coming from. Communication is very important. When judging a situation, it’s important to look at the nuances and understand where the other person is coming from. Having to keep track of everything can be overwhelming. For instance in the picture where she thinks about all the stuff that needs to get done with sitting down. There’s more to running a house hold than just executing tasks. There’s a lot of planning, organizing, and anticipating needs and responsibilities …

If you’re doing most of the work and there’s an unfair division, that’s problematic regardless of gender. You both deserve an equal amount of free time. If this system bothers you, you should talk about it with her.
