Feel like I have the carrot dangled in front of meAnd after you tell here that you better run bro. There is nothing good for you there. | /r/Divorce_Men | 23/07/26 09:47 PM
Did you guys ever let one get away, bc I did and it makes this betrayal + divorce 10X worseI married a person who was boring. Couldn’t talk about anything other than her job, her hair or the latest happenings on some trash Netflix celebrity Housewives show. She had no friends in our hometown so I was all she had socially. Evenings were long, dates were longer and holidays were fucking age. She’d blame me for being boring as I wouldn’t have anything to say like I was the one who lived a boring ass life. Eventually I had enough of entertaining her so I stopped even bothering. Don’t unde… | /r/Divorce_Men | 22/07/26 07:27 AM
Divorced and been living together for 6 months. That’s finally coming to an end. But it means goodbye to my cats 😿 and I’m not ready for that.We are co-parenting the dogs. I work shift so for my 4 days off I take the dogs and for the 4 days I’m working she takes them. | /r/Divorce_Men | 09/07/26 07:48 AM
Cancelled Memberships + Pending Divorce FinalizationI think me cancelling Netflix caused more grief and hassle than us breaking up lol | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/07/26 06:01 AM
Dating was awesome, Wedding was unbelievably fun. But being married was brutally awful. I’m often sad by how it ended. But I don’t *miss* it. Ever.Yeah I relate quite a bit with you here. It was just easier to say yes to my ex than to contradict her as she’d just start overcompensating and get so bitchy at me for shit that was so unimportant. Of course it was all my fault for “pulling away” when in reality I just wanted an easier life. | /r/Divorce_Men | 21/06/26 01:20 PM
The "I checked out a long time ago" excuseIn my situation we both checked out but only I admitted it. It was obvious to me that she was done and we were both just waiting for things to get to the point where we had to say the words. The day I knew was when I ran a marathon on a Saturday morning (she didn’t know I was doing it as I wanted to surprise her) but she didn’t even say well done. She just said “You were gone quite a while” and when I said I ran a marathon she just said “well that explains it”. Oh god I was furious 😂 | /r/Divorce_Men | 17/06/26 08:16 AM
She pulled the pin todayThe writing was on the wall for a long time pal. Whether she is right or wrong it doesn’t matter. She wants to end the marriage and has said so multiple times. You gotta prioritise things here now. Get the coparenting thing sorted. You and your future ex have to get aligned on how to deal with the kid going forward. That will take a little while to get sorted. After that, lawyer up and then start planning for your future. Where you gonna live etc. | /r/Divorce_Men | 14/06/26 10:51 AM
Moving 27 years of stuffI went hardcore with my stuff. It it wasn’t used within the last 6 months or had a sentimental value then it got either sold or thrown out. I got rid of 90% of my stuff. And that’s all it was was stuff. Also the few quid came in handy for beers and stuff It doesn’t exactly answer your question I know | /r/Divorce_Men | 14/06/26 09:10 AM
How many of you bought your wife out of the house?Had had two houses. Our family home is worth quite a 500k+. Our 2nd house is finance free but worth half of what the family home is and is a third of the size. We had a chat over coffee and she wanted to keep the family home. I didn’t care either way. It’s a win win either way. | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/06/26 09:05 PM
Wife left, got pregnant, now wants to come home. You speak harsh words but you speak the truth. | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/06/26 03:03 PM
Son's BirthdayI don’t know how old your son is but I’m guessing he’s young. He is probably still coming to terms with things. Give yourself a break and just be there for when he needs you. | /r/Divorce_Men | 01/06/26 07:27 AM
