1	It's not fair that a small percentage of men get to affect women's views on all men Honestly, this is part of why I just started asking guys out once I understood they were OK dudes. 1	Where does the idea of "men are the gatekeepers of commitment" come from? Ok but what if that’s the only male attention you’re getting? I’m a woman and being serious… maybe I’m not the right age group for this sub (48) but the vast majority of attention I get is from either guys much younger than me who just want to have sex with a MILF or guys who are objectively more attractive than me which then puts me in a spiral of “oh I guess this one just wants sex” so I automatically don’t trust them. 1	Men don’t have commitment issues any more than women but women tend to go for guys who have no reason to commit I want a relationship.
