Also, the gun man was probably 220+lbs. I doubt many of us could've done better than her.

Encouraging vulnerable, out-cast men to commit suicide. The kind of men that are emotionally unstable, lack any form of intimate connection, and have probably been beaten down by the world. Let's not shit on them some more.

We have no context about that event. It's not that hard to read body language and if that dude was giving off crazy vibe, she should be worried. I ride the bus everyday and have seen a lot of strange behavior by men and women.

Bad genes, poor diet, and lack of exercise are a mother fucker. I've seen 25 year old men that look 35-40 years old.

Sorry to hear about your issues. I can relate with some of the craziness you've experienced with your mother. However, you're an adult now. When are you going to take responsibility for your life? You have to accept responsibility for the choices you've made.

I grew up in a single-mother household. The most stressful thing about my childhood was poverty ie. Living in shelters, lack of food, constantly moving, etc. Luckily, my mother emphasised the importance of education growing up. I went to college and am now in the middle class, but many of my childhood friends (also from single-parent households) are still in poverty or in the working class. So, I agree having a father is statistically a good predictor of success for a child, but wealth IMO is th…

The fact that you admit wanting to have companionship is more introspective than many MGTOWs. I think getting a dog is definitely a good call. You can also form deep bonds with other men that you would be hard pressed to find in a relationship with a woman. I always say friendships are far more important than relationships. That only leaves intimacy that you get from women. It's hard to say because I haven't figured this out yet. It seems like many are happy to go the escort route. I would defin…

If half their population survives a nuclear assault, we're going to have some motivated enemies. Short of a genocide, violence will not work, never mind the ethical issues. We need to import Western culture and feminism. It will destroy their traditionalist culture in no time.

I can't take on all of humanity's problems, it's too much for one man. There's too many humans on this planet, but we're hopefully becoming more intelligent as a species. I just try to live my life, help family and friends, be nice to people I meet, and try to find some purpose and contentment. Then when it's time to checkout of this plane of existence, I'll do it with two middle fingers, a shotgun, and a whiskey bottle.

I agree, unless you're intelligent. IMO, we should encourage people with high IQs that are capable to have kids. If I recall correctly, intelligence quotient is largely inherited, so it would be better for the human gene pool to discourage and encourage the right people to have kids.

I do wish you well, but I do think at some point, not having kids will affect your happiness negatively. You know, when you turn 60 or so. I hear this quite often and I find it, forgive me for saying this, quite selfish. This isn't an attempt to shame your life choices, but I just wanted to play the devil's advocate. Perhaps you're right that a man's happiness will be negatively affected in his golden years, but the opposite may be true. I've heard of many divorces that ended horribly where the …

As a kid, I watched Xena, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Daria in Real Life, Moesha, etc. and other female-lead TV shows. If you're a latchkey kid like myself with no role models, you'll watch TV and believe that men and women are virtually identical. That is until you get out in the real world and notice that women and men have very different strengths.

The good man should flee life when his misfortunes become too great; the bad man, also, when he is too prosperous. And similarly: So he will marry and beget children and take part in the affairs of the State, and, generally, practice virtue and ... if need be, and at any time necessity compels him, he will depart to his place of refuge in the tomb.

I agree as well. The benefits of meditation to one's emotional well-being and potential improvements in concentration are reasons alone to start as soon as possible. Just meditating consistently every day can free up brain power that then allows you to accomplish more goals. Meditation doesn't fix everything in your life, at least not for me, but it's damn a useful tool that I wish I had learned as a young boy.

Could it be for love? Illusions, Mr. Anderson. Vagaries of perception. Temporary constructs of a feeble human intellect trying desperately to justify an existence that is without meaning or purpose. And all of them as artificial as the Matrix itself, although... only a human mind could invent something as insipid as love. The romantic relationships you seek will cure the loneliness only for a short time. The risks far outweigh the benefits, and the romantic love you experience will not last. It'…

Wahhabism (ultra conservative version of Islam) is definitely a problem, but I don't think it's the worst thing to happen to the planet. It's just another manifestation of superstitious, irrational thinking. This has been with our species since day 1 and is a product of evolution. You seem intelligent and I want to be honest with you. The thing I realized after being rejected by women is that it is their loss. This is probably not true. Women are perfectly fine with being alone or sharing a Chad if the alternative is being with a "neck beard" as you phrased it. If you want to fuck chicks, you have to become more attractive. The Matrix is a system, Neo. That system is our enemy. But when you're inside, you look around, what do you see? Businessmen, teachers, lawyers, carpenters. The very minds of the people we are trying to save. But until we do, these people are still a part of that system and that makes them our enemy. You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it.

Some of these men are not even aware of the control pussy has over them, which is more insidious. If you're attracted to a woman and want something more than friendship, at least go in to the relationship with your eyes wide open.

Well, this seems ridiculous to me. If she doesn't want to date short guys, that's her prerogative. I have a preference for not dating superficial women, so by my standards, she wouldn't make the cut. Eliminating them entirely is difficult but try not to eat any junk / fast food, pasta, cereal, sweets, white potatoes in any form, or bread in any form (including, unfortunately, pizza). Here are some options to keep in mind: Live alone. Get escorts and/or hookups to keep you company. Invite friends to move in. Flip or sell the house and travel with the money. Take up a bunch of hobbies. Find new friends, etc. Get married, have kids and live a relatively happy life. Get married, have kids, potentially lose half your wealth and house. Lose custody of the kids, pay alimony and child support. Your roll of the dice. Do you feel lucky?

The vast majority of us were like him. I'm pointing out that he had good intentions and regardless of what the women at his school think, we all know he was trying to do something good. And, that may be naive, but he doesn't deserve to get shit on. He'll understand one day.

Black here. I'm attracted to black women, but I agree. A good percentage of them are aggressive, lost souls.

I agree. If it's not a stem field, I wouldn't bother going to college personally. Going to a trades school can be another option.

I have known many gods. He who denies them is as blind as he who trusts them too deeply. I seek not beyond death. It may be the blackness averred by the Nemedian skeptics, or Crom's realm of ice and cloud, or the snowy plains and vaulted halls of the Nordheimer's Valhalla. I know not, nor do I care. Let me live deep while I live; let me know the rich juices of red meat and stinging wine on my palate, the hot embrace of white arms, the mad exultation of battle when the blue blades flame and crims…

There appears to be some controversy over that 10% number: The latest studies, ranging in date from 1991 to 1999, quote the follow incidence rates: 4.0% (Canada), 2.8% (France), 1.4% and 1.6% (UK), and 11.8% (Mexico), 0.8% (Switzerland). Source

This is a devastating point. We should change all the hunky characters on Twilight and Fifty Shades of Grey in to doughy, pot belly beautiful men. #BBM #RomanceFantasySocialJustice

Not "feeling safe" without explaining why is apparently a valid argument in an institution of higher learning. I will never send my hypothetical kids to this school.

The idea that our ancestors figured out human nature thousands of years ago is partially true IMO. Many of them also believed in magic and a geocentric universe. I think the truth lies somewhere in between the regressive left and right wing conservatives. Sprinkle in a bit of evolutionary psychology and we probably have a better understanding of human nature.

This is so true. Being able to let go of relationships is so important. I've gotten to the point where I value male friendships far more than any potential intimate relationship with a woman.

No, evangelists actively search out people to convert. I'm referring this guy to sources on youtube. If that's your definition of evangelism, I don't think you know what it means.

As far as I'm concerned, MGTOW is not very difficult to understand. Most of these guys coming out of divorces and relationships are so fucked up and are wondering why their relationships failed. They begin asking questions and stumble on to this subreddit and are willing to listen. I think these are the exact type of men we can easily reach. Regardless of whether they listen is no skin off my back, but it's very easy to direct them to some sources about MGTOW.

Some ideas that may be helpful in understanding women: Hypergamy: In layman's terms, women tend to date up and across the socio-economic ladder. i.e. They won't be in a relationship with someone they perceive to be below them in terms of social standing or wealth. This is the norm and there are rare women that this doesn't apply to but they're probably already in a relationship. Briffault's Law: The female, not the male, determines all the conditions of the animal family. Where the female can de…

To be frank, back in my blue pill days, I never got responses from single moms when I was on dating sites. They seemed to have certain standards which I apparently didn't meet. I'm pretty objective about my attractiveness (I'm definitely not in the top 20% of attractive men) but I am in good physical shape and have a good career. It just is a real meat market online and women have all the power on these sites, even single moms. That is they have all the power until you stop giving a fuck. tldr; …

From an evolutionary perspective, becoming a social outcast (from the tribe) meant certain death at times. I would imagine the fear of loneliness arises from the fact that it's hard to survive on your own.
