Since this wind would act as a distributed load, as the load gets further toward the toes the effect diminishes greatly due to reduced lever arm. Hmm. Yeah actually I think you’re right, I worded that poorly. What I meant was the wind would be creating a bigger moment on the tall man because of the distance from his head to his center of gravity is larger than that of a short man, as well as his center of gravity being higher relative to the ground. Aerospace engineer (well one semester away) here. If I was looking to take flight with the wind I would select the tall man. Little extra weight but more surface area. But of course you’d need to consider weight of both specimens. I would also select the tall man to tip over more easily because his tipping moment would be much greater. All in all this chick is dumb and I hate being short.
