We may be animals but we don't have to act like them. For example, it is completely acceptable for animals to rape each other. No one in their right mind would agree that that is okay with humans. I realize his point is mostly to get over the fear of approaching women, which is understandable but something really bothered me about the wording of his last rule.

You sound like a horny dog that's been let of its leash. Honestly, we are not animals. Give people some space, just because they are in public does not mean they want to be hit on by some teenager. What you ought to really do is have a group of friends that have other friends and so on. All of a sudden you'll have a huge circle of women that are only one or two steps removed from you. Then, instead of trying to fuck every one of them, get to know some of them. If you actually act like you claim …

I don't know if this is considered an unpopular opinion around here, but the guy on the right has a huge advantage with women compared to the guy on the left based on natural qualities. EDIT: Urban Coffee Lounge seems like the most generic name for a coffee shop.

There is no hurry. It's true but don't use that as an excuse. Get out there and meet people. Whether it's through the internet like Tinder or OkCupid, or through the bar/club scene or even through hobbies. Want to be in a relationship with that special someone? Well you're probably going to have to sift through a lot of people before you meet someone you actually click with. Easy to find someone attractive, a lot harder to find them worthy of your time after you sleep with them.

This goes without saying but you need to make a move as soon as you think you might be interested in a girl. You don't really have to be overly sexual with women if you're actually looking for a relationship and not just sex. If it doesn't work out romantically, you can still be friends after but at least you didn't miss an opportunity.

Time to take some photos of me spelunking in a dark cave while holding my puppy and looking away from the camera, without smiling.

True, I'm also pretty indecisive whether I should be taking decisive action or not. Living with my parents makes me not want to bring any girls home even if I could.

That's more realistic. Being 5'10 ain't shit these days. Women like to wear these high heel shoes and plenty of them are already right around my height. You want to be above average in height if you want to stand out. Not a huge handicap though.

Many women are sapiosexual Please keep in mind that social intelligence is usually the most valued. If you can show women that you are a leader type person, that is definitely attractive. A nerd who knows a lot about math? Not that attractive. Basically your status and position in life are probably more important than IQ or whatever other measure of intelligence is standard.

I just decided to start approaching women a couple of days ago. I was at the mall and talked to a couple of girls. Didn't get any numbers but having some interaction kind of helped me get out of my bubble. I was pretty terrible with what I said but I realized it's not really that scary talking to women in reality. They didn't think I was creepy or weird for talking to them. Even if I got rejected I feel like realizing that I can approach any woman I find attractive is a pretty good tool to have …

Vietnam was a long time ago. I don't believe there has been a draft since then so if we are talking present tense then no, the US does not have mandatory enlistment.

You know, the government can kidnap you at gun point Not in the US, Canada, etc. In Israel men and women have to serve.

Right, sorry if I went off a little. It seems like you have a good head on your shoulders after all. Unlike with women, physical features do not seem to be the primary factor in finding mates.

Let me just start out by saying that a book written by a psychologist is not exactly a valid source. I already found a couple of studies that somewhat contradict your statement (here and here). I don't really appreciate people like you that try to simplify the scientific method to come to conclusions that don't necessarily lead there. I recommend you keep an open mind and take every study with a grain of salt because most of them are not conclusive.

Care to expand on that? What happened and how did it go? I'm really curious cause I'm trying to get in the club scene myself and haven't had the best luck. I tend to do a lot better in the line because I can actually talk with people but once I get in I have no idea what I'm doing.

Maybe you're thinking about it too much which is what makes it awkward for you. Try watching other people and try to emulate them.

I think if you stand with a straight back, shoulders back, your hands naturally position right below your hips on the sides. If you're in the club, maybe you should try dancing with some ladies and not worry about that though.

Embrace religion or some sort of spirituality. Find a mentor. Sorry but this is terrible advice. Instead learn about the universe. Science has way more to teach you about who you are and where you came from than any religion or "spirituality" ever will.

If you don't have time or money, I truly feel bad for you bro because you should at least have one of those otherwise what's the point of having a job? Self-respect you can slowly gain as you make progress towards your goals. With discipline you can start by making small goals and following through. Go for a 15 minute run, 30 minutes at the gym or even body weight exercises like push-ups and pull-ups. The trick is to just go out and do it without giving in to your pessimism. Once you're out ther…

I hear you buddy. I'm kind of an introvert but I do come out of my shell every other day or so when I'm in the mood. Sometimes it feels that I don't have control of when I choose to be social but if that's the case, sometimes I have to force it.

You can change a lot about the way you look just by being in shape, having good posture, having a great hair cut, being well-groomed and dressing well. If you have an ugly face you can still change your personality at least. Plenty of ugly guys with decent women.

I think you are vilifying feminism too much. While there are those, even who do not associate themselves with feminism, who are unknowingly sexist towards men, feminisms main goals have always been to achieve equality with men for women, not to surpass men. The fact of the matter is that women have not achieved equality with men yet, not even in most Western societies. Men tend to make more money, are in more higher positions including companies and politics and generally have more influence on …

Semantics really. Respect and courtesy are synonymous in many dictionaries.

Now you are just following the letter of the law instead of the spirit. Of course you are going to disagree with people and hurt other peoples feelings. Respect is found in the manner in which you argue and criticize others. Not every opinion is equal but every person who holds an opinion is equal.

Mine is the dictionary definition. Have you seen a dictionary lately? Words usually have more than one meaning. From http://oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/respect due regard for the feelings, wishes, or rights of others: young people’s lack of respect for their parents Wouldn't the world be better if everybody respected each other in this way?

Things like this are just an indication of how out-dated some laws are. We need a government that can modernize sensible laws and correct this kind of inequality.
