| 1 | Book by Russel BrandIf I think about it, it really comes down to a rush of chemicals your brain releases/reacts to when putting in anything. Such as nicotine or sugar. Your body says "good" then it says "more," in one form or another and then we oblige. In the case of nicotine IIRC, your body gets used to having a certain amount of it and after sweating/pissing it out your brain demands more. The need is to escape reality and feel good.
