For MGTOWs, if we become incapacitated or very ill and need help living, there's no one to take care of us. Long term care insurance can provide for assisted living services and even home modifications to accommodate handicaps. Sure, in such a situation, one could self-insure, but premiums for LTC for young healthy people are pretty low, and in the event of a catastrophe, why squander your own wealth on assisted living?
