A lot of guys generally come into these threads and say, "All you need to do is be hot, it's easy." I find this hilarious, because one of the cornerstones of the PUA philosophy is that women don't know what they want in a man or how attraction works. Well, turns out men don't either, so don't listen when people tell you appearance is everything. My wife was like a 6 when we met in terms of her appearance alone but she hooked me fast. When we hooked up she was actually the least attractive woman …

Are you trying to pick up women or men?

I think I disagree. It seems like this would just give him an in and would give him some social proof with her.

I like to say "No." then lift them up in the air.

A wise man once told me that fat chicks are like motor scooters: they're lots of fun to ride, but you don't want your friends to see you on one.

I'm not an expert but it sounds like you built a lot of sexual tension and dominated her attention for the night. She invested a lot of her time in you with the goal of getting laid. You dropped her in exchange for a date painting a bathroom. Seriously not a super awesome date. I would think this is why she flaked. She was probably frustrated. I think if you're picking up girls at a bar, diverting them towards a slower dating process during the day is going to have a low success rate. For the mo…

Could be the exact same thing happening when a woman is having casual sex, right?

By this same argument, then, isn't it perfectly ok for a girl to take advantage of a guy's willingness to hang out in the friendzone?

The other 9 dogs have terrible social skills, no self-confidence, and no drive.

Number closes are not at all meaningless. They are at the low end of the meaningful scale, maybe, but I have stories that start with exchanging phone numbers and go from there, and I'm sure lots of other guys here do too. Also, even if it goes nowhere, it's a milestone. Anyway, I suspect this is just trolling.

This is going to sound ridiculous, but as a big guy this is a pretty significant part of my game. My favorite context is when they're getting real sassy. I just walk over and hoist them into the air, then set them down, give them a "So what now?" look, and walk away. I also like to toss girls in the air at concerts, etc. Usually girls standing nearby will come over and ask me to do that to them. I just grab under the armpits, usually. It's the most secure spot. Grab, pull her up close, delay for…

Clubs, raves, house parties. They seem to find me. They're not usually super aggressive or anything, just kind of testing the waters.

I think the best thing you can do in any situation is just to be as awesome as you know how. I think that's what 80% of the game boils down to anyways. Be a good dad. Do exciting things with your spare time- things that you've always wanted to do, or that interest you. Excel at your job. Take good care of yourself. Eat right, read good books. Watch less television. Basically, think about your definition of an awesome person, and be it. Live a life you're proud of. Let her know you appreciate her…

Ignorant question from a straight guy... How hard is it really to get play as a gay guy? Obviously the cultural stereotype is that you guys bone like rabbits, but even putting that aside, I feel like I get guys hitting on me all the time and I'm not making any attempt whatsoever or moving in those circles. Are PUA skills really necessary?

He's a sex/relationship advice columnist that writes Savage Love. Not directly related to pick-up, but he's a wise man with a lot of interesting stuff to say. He also does a podcast that is worth checking out.

I like to wait until they bend over so their crack is showing at the top of their pants and just kind of tuck it in there under their waistband. If she's wearing baggy pants, you can occasionally fit the whole fruitstand.

Google "hardgainer." Read the Undulating Periodization program by Alwyn Cosgrove. A diet high in fat will help to slow your metabolism considerably and will also provide a lot of easy calories. Squats and deadlifts are absolutely essential. I've personally put on 90 pounds of muscle over the last three years completely naturally. I'm currently bulking again and am gaining 4 pounds a week right now. Some of that is fat, but when you're naturally skinny, that's no problem to lose. PM me if you're …
