I can tell you that in Seattle, at least, there are FAR more shelters for men than women.

This is why shelters are not always the answer. They have too many rules. So many people are critical of people caping out on the street saying "They don't want help!" When the fact is, shelters have so many rules that keep people out. People need housing.

In my experience working in social services, this seems due to the fact that physical labor jobs are mostly taken by men and when they are not able to work, or get injured, they are thrown to the curb by their employers. Veterans have a similar situation. Women seem to be more able to get help from friends and others because they are deemed more vulnerable and less threatening. I think less emphasis is put on helping men out because there is this idea that they are tougher and more able to cope …

I agree. For example, George Michael was very masculine, but toxic males reject him because he was gay. Prince, very masculine, but rejected by toxic males for being too "feminine." I guess I'm in the minority for understanding the difference.

And they are very, very wrong.

No one is saying that masculinity is toxic. There is a distinct subset of uneducated males who are toxic and push their version of masculinity as a way to dominate others, because they lack the skills to behave in productive ways. Comments like these, that are latched onto by the Red Pill Club, do nothing to advance anything.

Good thing I don't care what you think. You can't even reply to my comment. You just go digging through my comments to find some reason to act superior. That's loser behavior.

I am re-reading what I wrote, over and over, and can not see why anyone would throw a tantrum over it, but there you go.

I don't why I come in here expecting rational conversation. I was agreeing with the sentiment here. But, OK. Whatever.

Except for the part where you ignored that. Guys have legitimate gripes about their expected role in society, but dudes like you just make all of you look bad, preventing any progress. You complain about the irrational SJWs and Feminazis, but you are blind to the fact that you do the same thing.

You skipped the part where I said that some of the accusations are really not that big of a deal, but that is the climate right now. As I wrote, it will take some women coming forward to say this. And educate. NOt saying it's right or what I want, just saying that is how it is. I would never get offended by some guy faking his hand on my boob in a pic. But if I wanted to stir up shit, I would. I don't, because I understand the bigger picture and how "Cry Wolf" hurts everyone.

I think that if you take offense at this cover, then you are scared about your past behavior being exposed. And I understand that a lot of this actually falls under "Fun and Games," but without clear communication, that can always be up for debate. The pendulum has swung too far, again. What we need to see are women coming forward and saying, "Hey, this particular incident with me was NBD. I recognize that is not always the case, but it is in this one..." Or something like that. And the pendulum…

Sort of, but I think you might be coming at it from the wrong angle. And I think 50% is arbitrary. And this attitude comes from culture in the olden days when women were more or less forced to stay home. And marriages lasted longer, because that was expected and because the wives had zero chance of financially making it on their own after leaving the marriage. Having stayed in the marriage longer, because that's what society expected and therefore not keeping up vocationally, divorcees had no ch…

Dude, you wrote "I'm sure the Feminists and SJW's will be pleased at this equality," Maybe that is what you meant to convey, but that is not what you conveyed.

Woman person here. My personal opinion is that I am glad to see this. One of the reasons it used to make sense was that Back In The Day, wives generally did not work outside of the home. And the work that they did do was all in support of the husband, so that he could have the best possible career path he could. When people got divorced, the wife was left out in the cold with no job skills, probably full custody (also not fair), unable to get work on her own. But that's just not the case now. So…

I don't think that it's the feminists who are being that way. 53% of woman voters, voted for Trump. They certainly are not feminists.

Aw, geez, dude. I mean, I got it before, but didn't FEEL it until I read about your experience. Thanks for sharing. And I think people who use those phrases are wrong to do so. It only exposes their own insecurity, that is so terrifying to them, they can't admit to it at all. And yeah, you're right. The pregnancy situation is sort of unfair. You don't get to have a choice when you get someone pregnant. But it's biology, and biology is not at all about being fair, ever. All you can do is wrap it …

I will try to explain my thoughts on this, but I am high AF, so forgive me if I don't make total sense. I think when a guy says to another guy MAN UP! It implies that the both of you already have an understanding of what defines a "man." He's just saying DO IT! I feel like when a woman says, " A REAL MAN WOULD..." it leaves the definition of a "real man" up for interpretation and the woman is using that to her advantage. And that's not fair. She can change the goalposts to where ever she wants t…

"Man up!" Is definitely a guy thing to say and A REAL MAN would/does whatever is definitely a woman thing to say. But you have to realize that is a result of the Patriarchy trying to convince everyone that men are so much stronger and therefore right, and now it has come back to slap you in the face as an insult. That's how these things work. Before you downvote me, explain to me how you think women have had any linguistic influence over the course of events? Everything men suffer from in our so…

College requirements are based on achievements. If you aren't achieving, you need to work harder, like everyone else is. You've been sitting on your laurels as favored race and gender, not working hard enough. According to all measurements, which have been in place forever, white men are not measuring up to your own standards. I thought you all were proponents of the best person wins. If you're not the best person, you don't deserve to win.

Correct. Boys are allowed to disrupt class while the girls are paying attention. Maybe don't disrupt the class.

Considering that women are taught to pay attention and boys are rewarded for disruptive behavior, again, this is all on you. You can choose to pay attention in school or not. It's no one's fault but your own if you want to be disruptive in class and your grades suffer. You want to behave badly and still be given rewards. No longer works like that any more.

Was the plan for white males to intentionally do worse in school? How does that benefit you? You've been lazy due to being spoiled and now it's hurting you. The rest of us have been working hard while you expect everything to be handed to you. You are 100% in control of your education, the same as everyone. You chose to not work hard. This is 100% the result of your choices and actions.

You think it's retarded because you are wrong. In the US, fewer and fewer white men are meeting the basic requirements for college admission. So there is a smaller pool of applicants from white males. To "even things out" white males with worse qualifications are let in ahead of people of color with better qualifications. Harvard is being sued for this right now by Asian students who were denied admission to make room for less qualified white men.

The ride share app is for safety. Women are raped and killed by strange men all the time. If women coming into a barbershop and raping and killing men becomes a problem, then we can talk. Until then, you're just throwing a tantrum.

As soon as you are raped by a strange woman while you are in the men's bathroom, you can complain. Until then, STFU.

Boys don't let us ignore them. They disrupt, demand attention, crash around hurting people. It would be a much better world if people ignored boys.

Why would I go into the men's bathroom? It's disgusting in there.

Yes, it's true that whiney men who hate having to be considerate of others are harassing women in the bathroom like the little spoiled brats that they are.
