I was trying to play it off as a casual I’m going to be here, join if you want. I’m not that invested into you. Is that a bad way to play things? I was also trying to test the waters on how interested she was, because I thought I picked up major IOIs from the previous day.

It is college, but it’s a pretty big one 20k plus. With 5k rotating in and out every year there’s no way to develop a reputation. I’d say the ‘don’t shit where you eat’ applies to small communities. Applying that to the college would be similar to saying don’t approach people in the city, don’t shit where you eat. I want to let go of my hatred, as I agree it gives her power and and is a complete waste. Nothing will change what happened. But wanting to get over and forget her existence, because I do believe the best revenge is having no emotions whatsoever towards her having literally mean nothing to me anymore, is different from actually doing it. There is like 7 people there. Kinda hard to ignore. It’ll take time before I get over my intense seething hatred for how she humiliated me in my specific circumstances. I’ve been spending my time moving on, improving myself, etc etc, but I still want some advice on good revenge tactics. I’ve been focusing on moving on, but my hatred runs real deep.
