I spent a fair bit of time reading it as a teen/early 20s. Didn't believe the ideas but back then I was subbed to SRS and so TRP seemed worse than Hitler. I wanted to understand what the women there believed and so joined a few discussions, asked questions and generally browsed. The majority were women who had a standard of expecting a man to provide, and saw it as their role as women to stay "pure" until marriage, keep themselves attractive and modest, and prepare to keep house, cook and raise …

The thought that teens are being groomed to open only fans accounts "aS sOoN aS yOu TUrN 18" because it's supposed to be empowering.. And actually the moment they do it they'll be disempowered forever, all for a pittance. A quick bit of easy money and you'll spend the rest of your life worrying that romantic partners, family, friends, work, or someday even your own kids might find that content. Empowering things broaden our options and independence in life, they dont fence us in and turn us into…

100% when you choose the boyfriend you choose the potential father. So look at him and imagine yourself at your most vulnerable time, during and just after pregnancy. Is he eager to help, keeping on top of household chores, attending and tracking appointments without prompting, providing for you when you need support, does he care for you when you're unwell like you care for him, listen to you and your concerns, make effort to spend time with you? That isn't being a good partner, it's the bare m…

If you ask me on a date, then ask me to plan the date.. well it sounds to me like you thought you just found a roundabout way to get me to ask YOU out. And I have to say, nah.

God I remember that. People hated on her like she was literally dismantling the site to spite them on an individual level. Actually, she was banning creepshots. Wish she'd stayed longer.

Seems you have a man with you? He's sitting clearly in frame holding the wine.. looks like just about every man I've ever dated, damn.

Yeah for sure, OP seems genuine. But I notice there's a lot of 'newbies' defending Mormonism.

Oh yeah! I've used the "look me in the eye" line before. Definitely some women have strong height preferences, although I've noticed that it's more common in younger women to have a strict "over 6' tall" rule. At the end of the day some guys are just attractive to you, regardless of height. Like I've definitely fancied tall guys before. But tall or short, the minute they act like they have a chip on their shoulder about it I'm so done.

I'm 5'3" and am pretty much exclusively attracted to short men. What's the point dating someone I'll struggle to kiss or cuddle when standing? The insecurities these guys have over it are honestly ridiculous though. Seems a lot of what they say is 'judgement from women', is actually judgement from 'alpha' culture and toxic masculinity. If they ask me about their height and I like them then I will tell them ONCE, "You're a big strong man to me, I don't need you to be a big strong man to anyone el…

It looks ok, and is currently on sale so even cheaper. To be fair she obviously did an amazing job finding a pretty dress on a tight budget.

What the..? I assumed she was wanting some big blow-out wedding the way he wrote this! That all she wanted was a modest affair and a family gathering says it all. This is why you select for men who pay for dates happily, she could've weeded him out on the first date. Hope she sticks to her guns and moves on.

It's either that or laziness. It's hard summarizing yourself in a few lines. Whittling yourself down in to your most important info, so people can get a quick impression of your character. Only narcissists or experienced daters can do that shit without thinking for a moment. But that doesn't mean it's acceptable not to bother. This is such a great litmus test for lazy, non-reflective personality types. It's also why I always swipe left on guys with no bios or with lame "BiOs R hArD :(" statement…

Everyone deserves a therapist. You may have some sort of attachment disorder, as the top post suggested, but the only person who can tell you and help you with it is a therapist!

It is. These algorithms track what you do, your personal details on social media, and what you talk about online. Then they spit out a specific sentence which is then crudely stuck into a photo of a shirt and advertised back at you. It's why you get so many 'women born on August 14th with dogs know the true meaning of family and Christianity.' shirt ads knocking about.

There is in the uk. You can phone up and ask the police to release any information to you that may protect you from an abusive relationship with any guy. They will discreetly confirm you are together, check for any reports or call outs (not only convictions) and will release any necessary information, not necessarily to the person who put in the request but to someone they deem at risk. It's not widely known and not at all advertised, but it was passed as part of Sarah's Law, under which you can…

This suggests he's not great at moving on emotionally, plus he's fickle (which seems to be my word of the day). Ultimately ask yourself: "If he was (a) a hvm, and (b) a person who sees my true value and is interested in securing a stable, honest LTR with me, would he behave this way?" If his behaviour doesn't match either one those descriptors then cut ties. Doesn't matter if he does fit one but not the other. A HVM with an emotional attachment to his ex is a no-go in the same way as a LVM who t…

Men are so fickle. Doesn't even have to be a long-standing issue, the first sign of difficulty in a relationship or being expected to support you the way you have always supported them.. off they go, looking for something 'better'. Better she find out now than during or immediately after her first pregnancy.

There should be like a barcode system and review app for men, so you scan him in and see all the comments from women in his life. "Has a temper" "aggressive" "sees women as sex ATMs" "doesn't respect sexual boundaries" That shit would save so much time. Mind you, dopes like the pickmeishas at RPW would probably still argue that they should select the guys tagged as abusers.

If someone asked me this I'd immediately assume they were looking for weaknesses to manipulate. Every cheating guy throws out the line "just because X cheated you can't punish me! You have to trust me." Because you've told them your past and they have no scruples about using that to gaslight. Seen this happen to too many friends. Also don't like that it assumes everyone is carrying around copious amounts of emotional baggage that they are struggling to work through. He talks about projection, he…

What a cool superhero that would make; someone who could tell when a guy was a predator and would avenge the women he'd hurt. And thanks! I love LOTR, and my username is kinda a reaction to the moment Gandalf comes back from the dead. Such a nerd!

Yeah, like dude it's your body and your choice to masturbate, but that doesn't extend to porn. Porn is other people's bodies, and ya ex didn't want you looking at them. Enjoy being single!

Yeah, based on her (no doubt biased) description it sounds like it was actually a really brutal and remorseless rape. You can't unlearn that shit. No prison sentence is long enough for men like these. He'll get out in 5-10 years and rape again, he may even kill. Then we'll all be sharing the news of his victim as 'male depravity', the government will pay a brief lipservice to the "why was he let out so soon?" crowd, and everything will carry on unchanged. This isn't just male depravity. The whol…

These are both in agreement that physical attraction is important in a relationship. Being judged on your looks is just a reality of dating/relationships. Everyone does it without even noticing. You gravitate towards people you find attractive, and there's nothing wrong with that. Just be realistic about what other traits you need in a partner, looks are important but they aren't everything.

Best advice from my stepdad. If someone tells you they're a bad person, believe them. Had the worst six months of my life living with a guy who had literally told me when we met that he was a cunt, and a bad person. And I just didn't believe him.. Stepdad bought me out of my rent for the rest of the year so I could get away. I've remembered his advice ever since, and always respond to these sorts of admissions candidly. "Oh, well that's concerning. If that's the case then I'm happy to end our re…

When he hardly writes a line about himself but has loads to say about what type of woman he's looking for. When he writes multiple times about "looking for a beautiful sexy girl" all over his profile. No profile info at all. Only one picture. Any statement along the lines of "intelligent conversation is important to me." Like he assumed women can't provide that by default and he's lookig for a rare beast. Other women. Why? I have never understood why they do this? To make you ask who she is so h…

Yep it's this. Even just think about how men react to being called cute. So many take offense, and I could never understand why. It's because women can call someone cute while still respecting them, but when men do it there is an inherently condescending aspect to it. When she says 'cute' she means 'sweet, thoughtful, affectionate, attractive' When he says "You're 'cute' (when you're angry)" the 'cute' carries connotations in his head, so he's really just using it as a polite way to say 'patheti…

Damn when you put it like that it shows how crazy it really is. The number of dates I've been in and the guy paid for his and left me to pay mine, but then at the end would be all "sometimes you have to give a bit of yourself and be free.. come on let's go back to mine". I've always been a 100% 'no chance' but never quite got the dynamics of why before.

Does he not realise that consideration does go into that "yay or nay"? I've never had a really bad relationship, and I'm 100% that part of the reason for that is I learnt to spot the signs of manipulation early and weed those men right out. He just can't handle the thought that women look at men and sum up their worth in the same way he probably looks at women and gives then a score out of ten. Bad news mate, we're all summing you up, and we're all grading you zero.

I refuse to believe the women with guys like the one pictured actually enjoy this shit. They probably grudgingly put up with it, but seriously.. who looks at him with his pacifier and thinks "yeah, can't wait to get home to bed! Can't wait to coparent with this guy.."

I've caught a guy doing this before. He just randomly co-opted a conversation to talk about a really "cool, down to earth" female friend who he was chilling with this weekend. He was low-key observing me (not looking in a natural way, but visibly watching for my reaction). Hadn't heard of triangulating then, so assumed it was a shit test, checking for how jealous I was. So I cheeky smiled and was like "oh are you two dating?" He backpedalled fast, saying they were just friends, but I just subtly…
