What I learned from that post is not nearly enough men are letting their women peg them....

Did you mean to reply to my comment again? I'm pretty lost

I respect that. All I meant by that was the title of the post made me feel icky, and I didn't want OP to feel like I was putting him down when communicating that. One thing I hate about a lot of feminists is when they feel like they have to put down men in order to empower women. Likewise, I hate MRA sentiments that feel too misogynistic. This post's title wasn't misogynistic, but it had enough of that vibe that I didn't like it.

I'll be honest, I really don't like this question, it's not the kind of MRA I try to be. But I will say, I would much prefer that women get their own badass original characters, than just take the mantle from a preexisting male character. That being said, I don't think "superheroes being replaced by women" inherently hurts men or men's issues. However, a lot of female-made superhero media includes a lot of misandrist ideas in the dialog and sometimes plot too. And I really hate the attempts to f…

Personally I don't see anything wrong with adults choosing it for themselves! That's like the whole point of not taking that choice away from a baby!

She's young, I won't hold it against her. That's the way society thinks, that it's okay to shit on men, and it's okay to generalize that all men are like the worst men. It's hard to pull away from an ideology that's so ingrained into a culture, especially when you're so young. And men like the ones she's describing do exist, and they are shitbags. I just hope that as she grows up, she'll begin to see that there's good and bad people, not good and bad genders. But on the other hand, like it or no…

If the majority of feminists don't support equality . . . then feminists don't support equality . . .

I don't know how much longer I can last here. I really hate feminism, but I love women. I want equality, and I don't have any time for people that feel the need to shame others.

The fuck? I understand that most people in this sub are against sex work, and have some very good reasons for being against it. But your comment seems the the kind of uncalled-for toxic shit that feminists say.

Yeah I kinda have a love/hate relationship with this sub. It's founded on good principles but it feels like over half the comments in here are just woman hate.

I've noticed it's hard to find actual information on the issue because the sub is kinda diluted with posts that are simply complaints.

Where can I learn the actual history of feminism?

I actually disagree. Mansplaining is a word for the same reason Feminism doesn't mean equality, even though that's what it might say in the dictionary. Also, men overexplaining things in a belligerent way is definitely a thing that happens. Women have their way of doing that too. Feminism is cancer. Amen.
