Media blackout incoming.

This sounds depressingly familiar. THIS is why women initiate 80%+ of divorces - they have a massive financial incentive to do so. This wreaks of female privilege and blatant discrimination against men. But in these times, she is "empowered" and he is part of the "patriarchy" so it's fine. Society says he doesn't matter. I feel so sorry for what he's going through and for what he will continue to go through in the years ahead.

Jesus, that is truly terrible. They were happy to have you plead guilty to something they knew you didn't do? It would be hard for me to get over that level of injustice in a "justice system." I hope you are ok, bro.

I think we all agree there should be equality of opportunity. But there will never be equality of outcomes because men and women are different. And that is ok. We don't need equality in the ranks of deep sea fishers or oil rig workers or front line soldiers or furniture movers or nurses or aged care support workers. The difference between equality in opportunity vs. outcomes is essential.

That's what humans do: find a socially acceptable doctrine that condones their bigotry and pretend that's why they have it. Religion is the first that comes to mind. People cite Bible verses to justify their beliefs but omit the ones that contradict it. It's all about reducing cognitive dissonance by rationalizing the shit we do.

I may be retarded, but you could consider unblocking her on social media. Don't engage, don't write a thing. But if she says nasty shit about you, keep a record of it. She may shoot herself in the foot and give you the ammo you need to prove her complaints are vexatious.

My friend has a rule that makes sense to me. If a woman expects him to go down on her, it's fair for him to expect her to gown down on him and swallow. In reality, if either party doesn't want to do this, the sex is probably terrible anyway.

My workplace, which is dominated by women and is rapidly heading to a future of 60-70% plus women, orgasmically celebrated women's day and promised to provide more opportunities for women to continue to fight the patriarchy.

I used to feel that way until I fell victim to the Duluth Model and learned what my society really thinks of men. Maybe I need to work harder to reaffirm my masculinity. I think I do. Thanks for the post, bro.

THANK YOU! Knowing what I know now about feminism, when I read "equality" and "rights" I hear "privileges" and "special treatment." American humorist Dave Berry wrote, "A person who is nice to you, but rude to the waiter, is not a nice person." Likewise, a person who claims to value equality, but is happy with inequality when it benefits them, does not value equality.

This sub has given me a new way of making sense of actual suicide vs. suicide attempts. The latter are mostly "gestures" not truly intended to end one's life. Placing both under the umbrella of "suicidality" is bullshit, just like placing "driving my car to the racetrack but then returning home" and "entering my car in the race and racing" do not both fall under the umbrella of "car racing."

No words for how sorry I feel for this boy. She has ruined his life forever. She should be locked up under the jail for at least a decade. She should permanently forfeit all rights to custody of the baby and forbidden from making any contact in the future under penalty of decades-long prison if violated. The baby should be given up for adoption unless the boy and his family wish to keep it.

Makes sense. What if 2 drunk adults have sex and the woman later argues she lacked the capacity for consent even though she happily went along with what was happening at the time? That's more what I envisioned.
/r/MensRights03/03/23 06:56 AM
8

Honestly, that would seem to be the only way to cover your ass. Plus maybe video recorded proof of affirmative consent to specific sex acts. But even then, consent can be withdrawn at any time so I'm not sure even this would hold up.
/r/MensRights03/03/23 12:22 AM
10

That's insane. How can a person be held liable for engaging in a sexual act that was fully consensual at the time?
/r/MensRights03/03/23 12:05 AM

Just so I can keep up, withdrawal of consent after a sexual act is completed is not acceptable, legally speaking, is it? That doesn't make any sense.

Nobody talks about it because, according to the dominant Duluth Model, the reality revealed by this secret does not exist. Only men can be perpetrarors of IPV. Women can only be victims. Even if they commit the same abusive actions as their male partner, it is not IPV because it is the man's fault. I feel ashamed to live in a society in which this actual model is reflected in actual policing and judicial policy.

What strikes me is the gender double standard. What she is disgusted by is what men routinely do for women without a second thought. One partner paying for everything because the other partner doesn't have much money is only ok if a man does it.
/r/MensRights26/02/23 05:14 AM

But it's men's fault! We made them do this. They're victims of the patriarchy and deserve to be pitied for debasing themselves just to survive. Right?

Exactly fucking right. All she has to do is threaten to call the police and the man has no choice but do whatever she wants.
/r/MensRights26/02/23 04:36 AM

This is why the threat of a false allegation is so powerful. Both parties know with certainty what will happen if it is reported. The woman will be believed and the man's life will be destroyed. Best case scenario is the man may eventually be able to prove his innocence after his life is ruined in every way possible. Even in this extremely unlikely scenario, the woman would likely face no justice. Fuck radical feminism and the politicians who made their agenda into law.

This is what happens when an honest and considerate man upsets a woman with a severe personality disorder. Bro, it's not a fair fight. Reason and the expectation of basic civility will not work because they do not apply to her. All you can do now is lawyer up and protect yourself from her insanity.
/r/MensRights26/02/23 04:24 AM

That is definitely not rape. Get off of Reddit and lawyer up. Your lawyer knows how to handle this. Also, her defaming you as a "rapist" is a crime. Speak to your lawyer about pressing charges or filing a civil suit. Fight back. You have rights, too.

Don't forget that another trait of high value men, in women's eyes, is success. Money. Prestigious job. The older a man is, the more likely he is to have these things. An early 20s girl can now be taken out on a fancy date any night of the week by a 30-year-old guy who is likely to have more money and resources than a guy her age. Inflation and recession are another variable that screws younger men in this equation. And again, dating apps make all this happen so easily.
/r/MensRights23/02/23 08:10 AM
22

Exactly this. When I said this will not end well, I meant this situation is a recipe for producing a generation of men who resent women and hate feminism, and a generation of women who feel entitled to men they don't deserve and unsatisfied with the men they do.
/r/MensRights22/02/23 10:11 PM
12

I thought it was well-known that popular dating apps are heavily biased in favor of women. They receive far more likes and have far more potential mates to choose from than men. Even average women (say, a 5 on a 1-10 scale) are inundated with potential matches. Some of those guys will be higher status (say, an 8) and are just looking for fun. Men are evolved to simultaneously desire to pursue both long term and short term sexual strategies, and dating apps have made finding hookups infinitely ea…

Wow, the gender disparity in the 18-29 age range is huge. Talk about a recipe for a generation of disgruntled young men. I really do think dating apps have a lot to do with this situation. An unattractive woman can have hundreds of men dying to take her out every day if she has a dating app profile. 20+ years ago, people found partners by meeting them in person and people were generally forced to find partners around their same level. Women now can be very choosy and select only the most desirab…

I will never believe official stats on this topic. Women are socialised to report, and increasingly so to construe non-physical acts (mean words, upsetting texts) as abuse/violence, whereas men are socialised to ignore/withstand anything to which they are subjected lest they be viewed as a pussy. This shit was never on my radar screen until I became the target of continued physical abuse and destruction of property. It never occurred to me to report it. That's actually a really good point. There used to be a social contract around this arrangement. The man did his part and the woman did hers. Modern feminists, at least those relevant to this discussion, think they can alter the social contract by making their part merely being present. Yeah...nah.

I just repeated this conversation with ChatGPT. It refused to tell me a joke about women. When asked to tell me a joke about men, I got this. When I asked it why it's ok to joke about men but not women it said it tries not to say discriminatory things based on gender. Then I repeated my questions and got another refusal for a female joke but another male joke. This is fucked. Men, but not women, have evolved to quickly sort potential mates into short-term vs. long-term candidates. It's instinctive and happens automatically. That doesn't mean we necessarily act on it but this is an inherent part of being a man. The science on this is clear.

It's true that many divorces, like mine, probably weren't necessary. However, women have a massive financial incentive to leave due to the structure of the family law system. And so women are incentivised to leave a marriage that could have possibly been worked out, and improve their financial position while retaining the house and kids, while the father is absolutely fucked.

I'm so sorry that happened to your brother. I would guess from what you've said that he, understandably, suffers from post-traumatic stress. I suggest you/he consider finding a therapist skilled in Prolonged Exposure for PTSD. Incentives drive behavior. This paragraph says it all: "It's another superb victory for the feminists, one more achievement for their mighty domestic violence juggernaut, which already works a treat stacking the family law system to favour women. Currently all it takes is one vague claim that violence could occur, requiring zero supportive evidence, to set in train a sequence of events starting with Dad being removed from the home, denied contact with children and, if he’s lucky, ending up payin…

Well, the Australian legal definition of family violence amounts to anything a man says or does that a woman claims makes her afraid/uncomfortable. A man who has never been actually violent either verbally or physically to his ex-wife and kids can still be screwed, as you said, by the woman claiming to be afraid of him. This is ridiculous.
/r/MensRights09/02/23 04:41 AM

I get that. But given the cons of allowing filming these days I would hope gyms now have a no-filming policy.

Heads women win, tails men lose. Women always win when it comes to any situation involving aggression/violence. The Duluth Model of policing, which I have had the misfortune of experiencing, says that if there is a domestic incident, the person with a penis is automatically the perpetrator and the person with a vigina is automatically the victim, without any regard to what happened. Yay feminism!

Thanks man. The YouTube video at the start of this post shows the white knight tendency. And it is fair enough in my opinion IF a woman is being assaulted by a man. But the problem is the assumption that an interpersonal conflict situation always and necessarily involves the man being a perpetrator of violence and the woman being a helpless victim. This doesn't account for women who are violent, sadistic, borderline. Some women, like men, get off on causing their partner pain/hurt when they feel…

Excellent point. Knowing what I know now, as a man, a female partner would have to be literally stabbing me with a large knife before I would even dream of calling the police for help. Even then I would still probably be arrested as it would be assumed she was defending herself by stabbing me.

The Duluth model approach to policing and "treating" domestic violence is, by far, the biggest injustice I have experienced in my life. I will never not be furious about it. Thanks to this experience, I am a men's rights advocate and hater of feminism.

The entire family law sphere is an epicentre of discrimination against men. Alimony, child support, custody, domestic violence policing, it's all shockingly biased against men. And women know this which offers them.perverse incentives to game the system to their advantage. Women now initiate the vast majority of divorces because they have a massive financial.incentive to do so. And when they do, the family man is screwed in more ways than one.

Left unsaid in this article is that "normal guys" are like unicorns in the therapy professions. They are 90% women. Men might be more attracted to therapy if they thought they would find a male therapist who comes from their own world. I don't understand how psychology programs think it's ok to accept 90% women and then complain that men don't see psychologists.

This may be the worst example of this double standard I've seen. She repeatedly raped and even drugged a child under age 16 and got essentially no consequences. Any man who did these same things to a girl would go to prison for at least a decade. This makes me sick and furious. I wonder if there is a way to find out what sentences that judge had previously handed down to male defendants convicted of similar crimes.

Further, I advise you to strongly consider that your company hss created a hostile work environment for you and that it is not in your best interests to continue working there.
