I disagree. Men do have less rights because they can be forced to pay for a child they don't want. Let's say the foetus is 4 weeks old. So it's perfectly legal to abort the foetus in every state. If the woman feels she is not ready for whatever reason she can have an abortion. But if the man feels he is not ready for whatever reason, he still needs to pay for the child. I don't disagree with anything in the second paragraph. But these are separate issues. Instead why don't you simply answer the question asked. Yes, women should have rights, they shouldn't be compelled to have a baby they don't want. Shouldn't men also have the same right? They shouldn't be compelled to care for and pay for a baby they don't want. Do you agree?

Why not? There are many cases happening all the time. Johnny Depp was able to prove the accusations were false but not everyone has 10 million dollars available to spend on a lawsuit. Also there's little merit in the argument that these cases are rare. First, there's no reliable data. Second, even if these cases are rare, we should worry about protecting ourselves. Most people who will drive to work tomorrow will arrive at office safely, but I still would like to wear my seatbelt.
