My main point is just saying "It's not fair!" isn't going to change your situation. Accepting the unfairness and navigating the situation from there is the only option.

I guarantee you that the self pity is only going to hinder the progress. I get that it sucks but i think its best not to think too much about it.

Exactly, I also feel like men can't handle power imbalances whereas women have had to put up with lack of power for centuries.

Yall need to stop validating each others complaints about women. Women have much more power in the dating world. Get over it. Use that fact as a motivator to just fucking better yourself and turn into a high value man. Sitting around complaining about how women suck isn't going to solve anything.

Perhaps if you were attracted to her you would. Also you don't get approached as much as the average woman does. You might not be as patient with someone if you were approached like that on a regular basis.

Its as simple as when you approach someone awkward and nervous they will also become awkward and nervous.

I think dating apps are what is making it more difficult for guys. It gives women an enormous amount of power in the dating world. I get that a lot of women don't understand that they have such an advantage, but that's just human nature. Men don't understand the advantages they have over women either.

Ya I'm trying to be patient and just work on myself so I can be the best candidate for a relationship. I'm also trying to put myself out there in person because I think online dating perpetuates the sleep around culture. It's definitely comforting to know there's still people like us in both genders. Good luck out there!

If it makes you feel any better I'm going through the exact same thing as a man under 30. It's been tough to find a woman who doesn't just want casual sex, especially in a big city. I think it's a cultural thing now instead of just being mainly men.

I know plenty of happy marriages that resulted from dating a coworker. My mom was a reporter and my dad was her camera man.

I hate this. So many people meet in the workplace. My parents were coworkers and they have a very happy marriage. Also where else are you supposed to meet people nowadays??

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
