You're absolutely right. I lifted 335 4x Friday then today I went for 335 x5 I could barely get it up my shins, had to keep dropping weight until I could finally lift 295. Then dropped it down to 225 for 10, then 135 for 16 x 2 I am dead right now at the end of a ten hour shift. Fuck my life

true, but since it works so many muscles all at once it is still more taxing than any other lift. 1x5 is just fine. I generally do 5x1 then some volume afterwards

DO you understand the deadlift? It is the direct pounding on your central nervous system first then musculature second which include lats, rhomboids, traps, hamstrings, glutes and spinal tensors, plus a billion stabilisers. That shit is taxing.

It is relatively small, it has about 200k people in it, and the majority of them are seniors that go to church. This has greatly dampened the night life I have found. Thanks guys. I feel they are being a bit selfish as well. Its making me be stagnant in so many aspects of life. They are true friends, but I need to be selfish here. I am going to go next summer then. have a vehicle to take me there, and a fair amount of money saved for this trip :) I can still work on game out here!
