Agreed 100%. It’s bullshit because men need support too, but I think that’s more of a societal issue and not a JK Rowling issue. The general feeling of this thread is more like hater towards JK for not including men. She can do whatever she wants to do and I support her in this effort.

Lol yes, let’s tell other people what they should and what they shouldn’t spend their money on. There should be more people in this thread demanding Gerard Butler, Eminem, Tom Cruise, Migos, and Michael Jordan to open up men-only support facilities instead of demanding that JK Rowling does it.

Maybe they should seek out a specialist then? Trans people seem to have slightly more specific needs when it comes to mental healthcare and support. This facility is likely not going to be equipped to support their sort of needs.

I honestly don’t believe this story. She shouldn’t be employed at a university if she is being blatantly sexist and racist. If this incident is not fictitious and actually happened, I suggested you grab a couple of other students who were put off by this interaction and go to the Dean or some other similar authority figure/office.

Man, TRP is really fucking stupid. Why attempt to “gain” respect from others? There’s no need to attempt to get respect from one group of people before the other. If what you are doing and what you are saying is deserving of respect, people will respect you. No need to make an effort to a target audience.
