I swear this sub gets more insecure and autistic every day

Okay I don't subscribe to this sub but I came across this post, and honestly? You're all trying way too hard and thinking way too much about this. Unless you're very autistic or otherwise have some kind of social disability, dating women is not difficult. I think the issue most people in this subreddit have is one of two things - you're either not a good version of yourself, or you're aiming way too high. Being a good version of yourself is simple. Make yourself as attractive as you can, which i…

Right now I live in a relatively small town in the middle of nowhere. The one upside is we do get a lot of tourism for skiing in the winter but generally it's quiet. Most of the time I've met women out was when I lived in a slightly bigger city. But it's not difficult to do now, people are still out there in the world. Blaming your lack of success on not being in the right city is pointless.

Yeah. It's how I've met most girls I've either dated or been in relationships with. It's not particularly difficult to do

In my opinion (as a European, this possibly makes a difference) Instagram is better. Its more casual, people spend more time on it than just waiting for a message, she can see what you look like properly. And I say 'as a European' because we tend to generally use texting way less than Americans do. Because we generally have pretty free travel between countries and a lot of younger people travel a lot, it's not super uncommon to meet a lot of people from random countries when you're on a night ou…

Wait do people here really think sleeping with a bunch of girls makes your life better? I mean when I was like 18-23 I'd very often have casual hookups with random girls, at least a few times and they were probably the worst times of my life. I was depressed, borderline suicidal, borderline alcoholic, losing my fitness, didn't have a great career etc. Now I'm older I'm in a committed relationship and my life is going better than ever. Having sex loads does not make you a better person at all lol…

In my experience don't need money to get dates and have fun with girls. My first date with my fiancee we went to the beach, had a drink (from the shop) and then went and watched the stars and had sex in my car. First date with my ex we went for a walk round a lake and took some food there. Cost basically nothing. Most of my early dates I don't spend a lot of money, why would I? It's a girl I don't know or care about yet, I don't wanna empty my wallet. I wanna show if she's fun to hang out with a…

To add on to this - 'high value' does not mean you have to be rich, own a lamborghini, a mansion, and be a CEO who travels the world constantly. High value means you need to have desirable traits. This isn't necessarily money (but it can be). However equally desirable for most girls is things like fitness, humour, motivation, a social life, being fun. Even if you don't have supermodel looks and drive a Bentley, being good at these things will go a long way. A prime example of this is in the movi…

I'm sorry what lol. This post is just awful and the comments are even worse. 99% of the time the gym is not the place to try and pick up girls. As someone who has lived and worked with girls my entire life, almost all of them just complain about guys hitting on them in the gym. At best, they'll polite reject you. At worse, they'll laugh about you in the group chat 10 seconds after you walk off and lose a bit of motivation to go to the gym at all. And I'm sorry but how is a girl using a treadmill…

Honestly while just dating I probably wouldn't mention it. As much as it should be a topic people can speak about openly and honestly, people still judge others (especially men) for having or needing therapy. This is me personally, but if you're just trying to hook up or be causal don't mention it. A lot of girls find it needy and weak still.

If a guy wants validation from a girl he's 'pathetic' or 'needy'. The same standard isn't given to girls.

Honestly I think so yes sometimes. Some random drunk girl the other day asked if I was gay purely because I looked like I looked after myself. I asked why she thought I was gay and she said 'you just dress well and look after yourself so I sorta assumed'. Like bruh.

'Where do you wanna go on our honeymoon' jfc bro chill out any reasonable minded girl would run a mile if you said that while you were still only trying to get someone interested.

To a point, but 'nice' clothing doesn't mean expensive or fancy. I've had decent success with girls and pretty much only ever wear a white t shirt and jeans. Nice clothing just means it's fitted well and suits your body type and personality. I used to dress kinda preppy but it just didn't really suit me. I grew up in the forests and was a bit of a jock at university, trying to dress like a rich city kid just looked wrong. You really can't go wrong with a well fitted t shirt and well fitted jeans…

Same thing happened to me. She just started completely ghosting me. I ignored it in the end and just left her to it. Fast forward a couple of months and I've started dating this really awesome girl (ghosting girl knows about this from my socials). All of a sudden guess who suddenly pops up again and says she was 'busy with work' (she wasnt). Ghosting girl then tried to get together with me again, and outright suggested we date and have a regular thing. I obviously rejected her as I'd met this ne…

This thread is hilarious. Yall spend the whole time discussing how to get with 'hot' girls, but then turn around and say that your own attractiveness is unimportant and that people should fall for you just because you talk a good game. Girls aren't attracted to ugly guys any more than we are to ugly girls, no matter what you say to them.

I think there's an important distinction here between finding someone attractive and the whole 'love at first sight thing'. Sure, most people don't have the whole head over heels in love the second someone walks in the room feeling, but most at least found their partner attractive. I mean look to yourself for this. If someone you found completely unattractive and awful to look at/be around came and hit on you, even if they had the best game in the world you're not gonna get with them. Looks and …
