Works as a stocker or something at Walmart. I don't care, she's actually having to work now instead of sitting around a disaster of a house on her phone all day letting the tv babysit the kids

Was I the best human during my separation/Divorce? No. Did I get absolutely flamed by the Reddit community when my ex posted about it? Yes. I reached a point where I couldn't keep up with everything, it broke me and I had to take care of myself. I'm in a much better place now. Better days are coming.

Sounds a bit like my ex and why she’s bitter about things.

I like that acronym. Basically do that so it doesn’t start either an argument or a stupid rant about… the topic of the day.

That is a MASSIVE Burden to bear when she doesn’t take responsibility for her own emotions and actions. It’s not just on you to be the “bigger person” but too many women have abdicated that responsibility and relationships are suffering because of it.

Neglect. Herself. The house, and me doing my best to care for it was never good enough, always things I missed. The kids The shopping. I, a(later, the kids as well) was the reason she couldn’t get a routine in. Was my fault she didn’t learn to cook/meal plan. “Every time you touch me it leads to sex” (barely 6 months into marriage, we both had waited) And the fact I worked a high stress job, with long hours led to me “abandoning” and “neglecting” her. Eventually i decided that I couldn’t take it…

Not really. Blamed me for any and all incidents/accidents that happen, so I only tell her the necessities. Gets unreasonably angry if I asked anything that would disrupt her “routine” she says she needs.

Gym, Firearms, Modeling, Cooking/canning/grilling. 760 day Duolingo streak, some outdoors and hiking. I lost a good amount of my friends during the split and regained a few of them afterwards, it was weird. Edit: typo.

I felt this personally. I did all the chores, almost all the shopping, and child care. When I pick the kids up on the designated weekdays I just… piles of stuff/clutter all over the house, same things laying around on the porch for years, and a general odor around the place. I feel bad the kids have to experience it. That and they’re never ready when I get there. 10-15 minutes of her yelling at them to get dressed/ shoes on.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
