To copy/paste a comment from another thread. Great men go through what is called asceticism its an abstinence of worldly pleasures done in order to gain physical and metaphysical health. The earthly pleasures of the world, like sex, are seen as temptations straying you from achieving greater self wellbeing, Take control of your deep inner self first then obtain the pleasures of the earth. If a man's SMV peaks around 30 then I believe taking a 'break' to improve yourself for later is a great idea…

.... Ketosis is the name of that process Ketosis is a state of elevated levels of ketone bodies in the body. The acetone smell your notice in your breath/urine is a result of the ketone body acetoacetate being broken down. (IIRC acetoacetate is what ketostix measure for.)

Hows that different than most kids? In theory, the institute of marriage enforces monogamy and thus guarantees fathers that their offspring carry their genes. Its not like we run a paternity test on the vast majority of kids. Not sure how this comment is related.

But just because you're a stepfather doesn't make the kid any less yours. It means you have chosen to take on a father-role to another man's child. To rephrase, it means the child is only yours by word.

I think the problem here is a failure to understand that feminists have no wish to negatively affect women. Low incarceration/conviction rates for women are far from a problem (in theory comparing to the equivalent male stats could be used to "prove" that men are more prone to crime). In contrast not allowing women to serve in combat roles curtails their agency. (The logic behind the ban is another discussion entirely). In conclusion, I'm blowing smoke rings.

The needy man epidemic has been rising in recent years. How do I know this? Because my friends and I have dated them. Because this sample is significant in size and quality. .... a study saying that it takes only three dates for a woman to update her Facebook relationship status, and five dates for a man to do the same. Um, sorry, but who exactly are these “74 per cent of 18-35 year olds".... This is weak evidence against her argument supported by a much larger and more diverse group. In my expe…

I'm not saying that men don't take pointless risks. What I am saying is that women are more likely to take pointless risks and when TRP talks about men being more 'risk taking' it is in the context of purposeful, calculated risks. -this line is the snarky statement that this sub seems so fond of closing on-
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/14 06:13 AM

It's interesting how when TRP is talking about how superior men are to women, they talk about how men are more likely to take risks than women. Yet when you want to talk about how inferior women are to men, all of a sudden women are the risk takers. 1st instance - risk for benefit. 2nd instance - frivolous risk for minimal gain.

You're telling me guys don't get into fights callously that could easily lead them to be critically injured. The difference is that a guy who instigates a fight knows it's almost certain there will be retaliation. A girl in the same situation knows she is immune to any repercussions due to her gender. A guy will pick battles he can win. A girl will jump in assuming she won't have to battle.

I guess what I'm aiming at is in any group you're a part of there will be some views you don't agree with and some people who take things to far. It doesn't bother because if Crazy McWifebeater wants to frequent the same public internet forum as I do then that's his right. I don't agree with him but hey, there's a lot of things in the world I don't agree with.

That is a valid point, I suppose if I could refine my original statement I would try to compare the magnitude of these effects (feelings vs forced parenthood), rather than flat out ignoring one scenario's repercussions.

Lying to a person causes feelings of betrayal. If you catch them out on it. What are the odds that you find out the guy you met in a bar and had a ONS with isn't who he said he was?

I read your comment and request you clarify how you think someone after physical intimacy would benefit from freezing out said intimacy, and continuing to provide emotional intimacy.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/13 07:22 AM

By freezing on physical intimacy and continuing emotional intimacy you have accomplished nothing. The women is still receiving the emotion she is after without the man receiving the sex that he is after.

Cheers for the reply man. Your post made me laugh with The implication that other peoples internet opinions could discomfort me and The idea I'm very religious cause I listen to what the Big G says in regards to sex. In no way am I trying to be snarky, thanks for contributing to the thread.
/r/askTRP31/08/13 12:46 AM

Hmm.... Not quite sure of an opening sentence. I understand that TRP is primarily sexual strategy, however I would refer once again to the 'toolbox' analogy. I personally think that the way the Red Pill describes the nature and drives of women to be accurate, and that said allows for better control over ones interactions and dealings with women. If you put the pursuit of hook ups aside, the Red Pill still has a lot to offer any man looking to improve himself and increase his value. (Read the man…
