Transgender man Argues Testosterone Effects initiated him Into The "Patriarchy"To me it just sounds like the person became more confident in themself following the introduction of hormones because they felt more completely male. So the bias they were actually noticing was that people pay attention to and respect people who are confident in what they do and say, rather than people respecting masculinity for masculinity's sake. | /r/MensRights | 23/05/16 04:14 PM

To any biologists out there; is it true that the Y chromosome is just an "incomplete" version of the X chromosome?Yes I believe that is how it works although I do not know a huge amount about developmental biology | /r/MensRights | 19/04/16 06:37 PM
To any biologists out there; is it true that the Y chromosome is just an "incomplete" version of the X chromosome?Only because they have 2 of them and because Y is associated with males | /r/MensRights | 19/04/16 06:16 PM
To any biologists out there; is it true that the Y chromosome is just an "incomplete" version of the X chromosome?1 X chromosome is required for normal development. Females having 2 x's means that genes can be activated from either, with the unused genes becoming inactivated. A clear example is tortoiseshell cats, which are all female. The pattern on their coats is produced by the different pigmentation genes being expressed or deactivated. Because males only have 1 copy of the coat pigment genes, males cannot have a tortoiseshell coloring. Essentially, the second x is redundant and will be deactivated | /r/MensRights | 19/04/16 06:05 PM
Men Are Harassed More Than Women Online - Data shows men get more hate, while women say they get it because they’re women. These harassment articles never seem to mention harassment in online gaming (or I missed it), but I bet the average league or dota player gets more hate in one game than the average woman does in a day. | /r/MensRights | 15/04/16 12:20 PM
