Who knows about this specific topic, but yeah lots of chicks shit test/fight/argue for sport, just to make sure you’re not a total pussy. The key is to stand your ground.

Why do you think most people drink alcohol on dates?

Homie is already seeing a therapist. It takes about 20 minutes of talking to a psychiatrist over zoom to get a script. It’s not hard or expensive.

Good luck. I know it’s a bit controversial, but for me, taking .25mg of Xanax before first dates helps calm the severe nerves that can trigger a full blown anxiety attack. I’d highly recommend it.

I’m not a statistician, but it’s more likely that older women will have had more experience and thus be more likely to get in bed sooner. Like over 21 when they can drink and have started experimenting.

Start in groups. Do you have any friends who have female friends? Ask if you can join a group hang. You in school? Join a club. Find an activity you genuinely enjoy (climbing, hiking, community activism, etc) and see what females or groups around you might also enjoy that - suggest/invite people in a group. Coworkers? Lots of workplace hangouts happen. Same strategy as above. Ask a group to go to trivia night or to the museum or wtvr. You could setup a dating profile that says - I have anxiety b…

Everybody’s different. Lots of girls go through a ‘slut phase’ anywhere from 16-30. The more sexually experienced a woman is, the more comfortable she’ll be getting into bed sooner. That could be at any age depending on the individual.
/r/seduction24/08/24 07:10 PM

Start with making some female friends. Platonic. Spend time with women where you’re not considering the outcome (will she like me? Will it lead to sex?) - you gotta learn to treat women like normal people first - you could talk about literally anything. You’re probably getting anxiety due to the uncertainty of the outcome of your interactions. In Game, this is called ‘outcome independence.’ Accept that your interactions may indeed be awkward, and THATS OK. It doesn’t work out with everybody. Bro…

How does it feel to have been in Van Halen at their peak and now do broadway gigs? Plus staying 44 must be a real challenge - how do you do it ?? Jk, but for real, cool job, what do you play ?

I’d say younger women are more concerned with collecting new experiences, whereas older women are more attuned to what they want in a partner and lifestyle. The pickup part isn’t all that different. All women are still looking for enriching experiences and a stable partner as they get older.

LOL If this is real, you need to have an honest conversation with yourself and with your bf. If sex is that important to you and he isn’t naturally compelled to participate with the intensity or frequency you desire, you are sexually incompatible. Sounds like you’d benefit from an open relationship and very few guys are actually down to be in one, you just gotta be honest with yourself and have the convo with him. Then DM me ;)

Yes it was more of an even playing field, but idk anybody on either side who loves app dating. It’s best to just not take the apps too seriously or bank on them as a sole source for meeting women.

Yeah she’s probably wondering why you never made a move and asked her out. She prob thinks you’re weird for just wanting to text and be friends instead of showing some clear signs of interest. Eye contact is completely normal for people when in conversation, but if she’s just looking at you from across campus or whatever, she’s prob just thinking ‘there’s that guy who texted me but never talks to me irl, which is weird.’ Either talk to her IRL or move on.
/r/seduction29/07/24 07:53 AM
8

What ?? You’ve never asked her out and you’ve been just texting her for A YEAR??? What eye contact are you even talking about if you’re just texting?? None of this makes sense.
/r/seduction29/07/24 07:30 AM

Basically, yeah. As you get older, you’ll start to value intimacy more than the act of sex. And once you legitimately don’t care about getting laid, you become less needy, and women absolutely respond to that. But because you’ll actually care less about it, it’s not as rewarding. Getting GOOD sex with intimacy becomes more rewarding, and that’s harder to find.
/r/seduction26/07/24 05:42 PM
3

Just repeat this cycle til you’re dead inside. Worked for me. Now I no longer catch feelings and pickup is way easier and less rewarding. Lol 🥲

I don’t think about Insta or App rejections hardly at all. Unless you know this person IRL, there’s not much to read into. Establish some rapport and then ask em out, if they say no, be unbothered, move on. Don’t be a reply guy who hearts all her stories. You’re either in her life or not.

Keep calm, try to imagine this has happened to you before. I’d reach out the next day and say ‘hey X, it’s Me from (name of the bar) last night. How was the rest of your night? (Or some other more personally tailored question or comment. Keep it light and fun - ie. were those ur coworkers or employees? - ask something that shows you want to actually get to know something about her)’ Trade a few exchanges and start a convo that actually gets you info on who she is, what she might be into (without…

.25-.5mg will not make you feel zoned out or tired/sleepy. Just helps take the physical sensation of nervousness down a notch or two so it’s easier to feel confident/relaxed. That’s fine if it’s not for you. It’s worked great for me.

I’ll pop half a xan before a date just to make sure nerves don’t get the better of me. Has def helped.

The older I’ve become (38) the less I care about getting laid, so the lack of outcome dependence means I can comfortably pick up women anywhere. I don’t go out specifically for it anymore. I just meet women through daily living doing the things I like to do and if the energy is good, you just ask em out ! But the girl I’m currently dating I met on hinge !

You shouldn’t be debating or arguing while dating. Women only like to argue after you marry them.

I mean, I was half joking about the advice, but it’s hard to tell with apps why she ain’t getting back to you - she’s likely got an overwhelming amount of matches. Impossible to tell why she’s giving her attention to someone other than you rn. I prob wouldn’tve asked what her plans are unless it’s part of you asking her out, which it sounds like is also too early to be doing. It’s just too normal/friendly of a question. You gotta do some entertaining first. If she flirts back, then you can propo…

Thats what’s cool about dating older women, you can ask THEM for advice. They’re usually pretty straight shooters.

I grew my beard and mustache out and girls tell me they like it. I went to the gym so I’ve got more muscle than I used to and some of the women I’ve slept with say I have a nice body. Idk what kind of story you’d like to hear from this lol it’s not like I became Brad Pitt over night and now I get chased by pussy. I was getting laid before I did these things too, but now I guess the girls I pull are somewhat hotter and I feel better about myself. The end

This is a great thing to remember!!! This also pairs well with reframing approaches - go in as though you’re goal is making a friend, it’s so much lower pressure, and you’ll feel better about ‘just being yourself.’ Having several female friends has led me to MOST of my other female connections. Having a female friend who can connect you to her other friends is invaluable. You’re vetted and gaining experience. Great outlook.

ur from Tanagra? Shaka, when the walls fell! I agree. I’m kinda just saying that in order to encounter the opportunity for NSA sex, you have to show up while being open to genuinely sharing in each other’s company. Once the trust and respect is there, then you realize how easy it is and that you barely need any game, just confidence.

Few women are cool with being used for no strings attached sex. Your friendship and company is the minimum you can offer if you expect to be in any kind of relationship with a girl. Everybody wants to have sex with them, so you need to put yourself in her shoes and think why she should fuck you instead of someone else who’s probably willing to bring more to the table than just their dick, they can get that anywhere. Supply and demand dude, women have the upper hand. If u rly want no strings atta…

That’s not always true though and kind of victim blamey. Oftentimes nice, trusting, or naive people get taken advantage of, and it’s not toxic to be weak.
/r/seduction13/03/24 08:18 AM
3

Being ‘toxic’ is broad, but I think you mean why do girls go for assholes and there is a simple answer - confidence. Women go for confidence. Assholes are abundant in displaying it, whether warranted or not. It’s not that girls LIKE the quality of their partner being mean to them - it’s just that these guys usually display more confidence than nice, polite guys. It’s a representation of his ability to acquire resources [for her]. Hungry dogs eat first. Polite dogs eat last. She’d rather be with …

Are you tryna hang out or fuck ? Breaking a very platonic routine to move things into the sexual realm is unlikely here, but yeah, you’d prob need to go on a proper date to entertain the idea of this change in ur current ‘friendship’(?) And to answer your question, it depends on the type of female, and yes, I like it when a girl has asked me out (twice ever).

No real tips other than don’t mention their height. The majority of guys who do approach tall girls usually make some comment about their height as their opener or early in the convo. Don’t do that. A lot of tall girls developed faster than their peers and may have been teased or felt self conscience about it in their pre-teen years. I find that talls are usually pretty down to earth, dorkier, nice people. So when you just treat them super normal, and not like a circus freak, they seem to really…

Idk if this is good advice or not, but it’s an old trick to ask for help, or just ask any sort of relevant question, play dumb (or not if it’s a legit question/need) and let him kinda start talking while believing he’s being helpful to you. Gives you the opportunity to start a convo. So just try to keep engaging him in convo, if he’s interested, he should see the opportunity you are presenting him with… Guys, and young guys particularly, are also notoriously dumb and might not pick up the signal…

Well the last thing I’ll say is that while I respect your human right to do whatever you want with your life (so long as it’s not a burden or harm to others), I think suicide is pretty lame. Like I said, people in other parts of the world have it way worse. Everything is a matter of perspective, and is subjective and relative, and really it’s all what you make of it. If this is the way you choose to interpret your life, so be it. But I do wish you well and hope you experience some joy before you…

Well the sentiment of my remarks stands true - the point is to not waste your life before it ends. I guess if you feel like you’ve done everything you can to the maxim and nothing brings you joy, it’s your life ! You tried therapy? 10 days of silence and yoga with monks in the Himalayas? Living in a hut in Indonesia? Skydiving? Fly a plane? Shoot a flamethrower off a surfboard? I have depression and suicidal ideation often, but there’s always some new experience enticing me to live. I’ve found a…

You might as well try seeing a prostitute and getting a credit card and rack up tons of debt taking a trip to Asia or India or somewhere people have it worse than you. Or just go full hedonistic vacation and do all the drugs. You might as well ruin your life in the pursuit of gratification before you kill yourself from the lack of it.

As a 36yr old who is 5’7”, sure, I’ll take it from a 17 year old who’s 6’4” that height doesn’t matter as much as I think it does as… /s More than height and raw genetic looks though, PERSONAL STYLE is #1.

Cool, as long as you’ve got options on the table. Yeah, it’s unusual for a guy to want the depth you seem to be looking for in a relationship before sex. So I’m wondering if this isn’t your subconscious building up some kind of moral boundary to protect you from deeper fears/insecurities involved w/ approach, rejection, intimacy, etc. Pickup is a good skill to have either way so that when you do find someone interesting, that you want to pursue a relationship with, you’ll have the experience and…

Yeah of course it’s fine! But, yeah, you’re definitely going to miss out on more sex and relationship opportunities. It’s a balance of quality & quantity. Do your thing. But be real with yourself. Are girls pressuring you into sex before you’re comfortable?

Well, I’m not certain what you mean. It seems that you have accepted that you aren’t great with women at the moment. If you were in denial, you wouldn’t be aware of the problem and so you wouldn’t be here asking for help. Does that make sense?

That’s ridiculous. If u can’t be honest about what u do and who you are then its never gonna work beyond a few fucks anyway. No need to be timid on the internet, but apparently you are self conscious about it. Have these women explicitly said they’d had interest except because of your job? Chances are it’s not just that.

It’s real. I was just left by my wife and partner of 9 years, seemingly on a whim. Obv she was unhappy and it’s hard to pinpoint what exactly went wrong and where, but I can say this for myself at least, you should not wholly devote yourself to your wife/gf/partner. You gotta learn to put yourself first and find satisfaction and fulfillment in that, and that’s what makes you attractive to women. Being faced with this challenge, being a ‘real man’, is the loneliest prospect in the world. I’m goin…

I’m by no means a PUA, but I’d suggest temporarily letting go of the notion that you’ll be having sex with these women, and instead foster within yourself the desire to simply talk to them. Go read How to Win Friends and Influence People. Sociology 101.

Man, first, you are not alone. I'm 30 and married, but this was absolutely a problem for me in my early 20's. The crowd here seems pretty correct in that this isn't a simple PUA anxiety issue and you may want to meet with therapist who may likely suggest something like Xanax, but short of going through all that, start by looking at yourself. When was the first time this happened? For me, it was that I actually developed strong feelings for this specific girl who was a friend and I was fine until…

In my experience, this blunt tactless kind of behavior can be somewhat typical of Eastern European women and shouldn't necessarily be perceived as rude or even shutting you down. Is it normal by western standards? Obviously not. But, they can be very literal and outspoken. You very well could have given a polite "yes" or "not really" and she probably wouldn't have been shy about her feelings one way or the other. They can be very unapologetic and opinionated. After getting used to this, I've fou…
