I spoke to an ex RUC officer who told me that during the troubles they were advised to shoot the women first. Because they were often much more dangerous than the men for various reasons. So yeah this is something the IRA have been doing for a long time apparently.

Ah I see, I actually used to have hair past my shoulders myself and I got alot of shit about it from strangers but mostly guys who thought I was somehow less of a male because of it or older people who thought it was unseemly. I don't think I was ever accused of being a child molester because of it though.

I imagine they meant great physically, In which case the argument could be thrown right back at them while women in video games may be scantily clad in some cases they are in great physical condition much like all the men in this post. But that would likely exacerbate things.

Im assuming this happened in the US and im not sure how it works out there but where Im from if your held in Jail before trial, If your found innocent you get paid a certain amount for everyday you spent inside and if you get found guilty the time spent inside is taken off your sentence.

Yeah same here its just my personal experience that Dentists have been male and Hygienists femle aswell, Ortohodontists have been male aswell, Though I have seen a mixture of male and female doctors when i was a child my GP was male and when he retired around 6 years ago I got a female GP.

I see entirely where you are coming from I did some stupid shit when I was that age, And im glad I never had to face a judge for it. I am not saying that these kids necessarily should though if these children thought that was a prank and didnt realise it was going to far I question what sort of job there parents have done raising them so far and if they would provide effective punishment

Oh definitely one case I read about was a man in Louisiana who was in jail for 25 years and compensated $150,000, What's the average yearly income for an American male about $40,000 dollars? (that's what a quick google search told me, so Im not sure how credible it is) but instead they valued him at $6000 a year sickening really

I was always under the impression that you automatically got paid reparations for wrongful imprisonment. After reading your comment I did a quick bit of research and was quick to find out that isnt the case and shocked as well. Though I only did the research for the US but I know in my country (Northern Ireland) if your in jail on remand and are later found innocent at your trial you get paid a certain amount of money for everyday you spent in jail so I imagine the same rules apply for the wrong…

This is just the worst kind of thing, i happen to know two people who have falsely been accused of rape and it absolutely tore there lives apart, one of them was still a minor at the time and in school and his name wasnt released in the press but the girl who had said she was raped because her mother found out she lost her virginity and wasnt too pleased with her daughter, well the girl told her friends about it so obviously the word got about school and you can imagine what sort of hell a teena…
