I feel that women do have equal opportunities. Many women, who aren't feminists, don't feel that they're being held back in anyway. I feel that modern feminism is just a smokescreen that keeps us from addressing real systemic issues, like the hoarding of wealth by billionaires. We don't live in a patriarchy, we live in a plutocracy.

I'm more of an egalitarian myself but I don't like what feminism stands for of late. I've encountered enough more moderate feminists who really don't care about the plight of other genders and even women of color. There's a HUGE intersectionality issues amongst feminism and I don't think white feminists are paying attention, which black feminists have pointed out. I want a better future for ALL, not just a specific demographic.

I wish someone would create a community for trans and cis people who are anti feminists, so both sides can grow as allies. The transphobia on here at times is off-putting and groan inducing.

I'm a black man who's been physically assaulted 3 times without the police wanting to intervene, even when they saw me get assaulted. That only straight white men have to deal with an empathy gap is no different than feminists thinking that about men. To be a human being means you get a raw deal most of the time, NO ONE is exempt from that.

Women are victims? Where have I heard that before? People existing near you doesn't make you a victim, no more than integration made white people victims. There are people that are different from you, tough, get over it and act like an adult and not a toddler. Women need to learn that and not be forever coddled by men and society. You will forever find people that are different than you in some way, it is not acceptable to irrationally cower in fear over it. Grow up.

Even from a legal point of view, that won't help(at least not in the long run). Like I said in my edit, identifying as female didn't help me with the police. It never helped me in any legal situation because I was still seen as a man/male. Even the president affirmed that trans women, males who identify as women, are still required to register for the draft, so much for males acquiring female privilege. Once upon a time, I lived as a trans woman but I don't anymore. I detransitioned not because I felt being trans was wrong for me but because it's damn freaking hard!! Don't go looking for facts, this is just fear mongering for them. They'll do anything to justify their hate. I've been around trans women and cis women, and I've been sexually assaulted by cis women and NEVER by ANY trans woman I've known.
