I'm 34, 35 soon and yea I am so glad we didn't have most of this shit growing up. Yea there was the internet from when I was 12 or so but like it was mostly just for looking up cheat codes to video games (cheat codes don't really exist anymore sadly since dlc/microtransactions took over). But yea just don't be attached to your cellphone, if I'm going to the gym or store or whatever I'll leave the cell phone home sometimes. I was at the phillies game, and a drunk guy was having fun yelling at the cardinals players, yelling at the pitcher "You throw like a giirrrl!" and everyone was enjoying it in the crowd. I rarely do anything more than starbucks for a 1st date now. A few years ago I met some chick off POF. before we even ordered "You're playing right? I didn't bring any money" I let a few minutes pass, said I had to go to the bathroom, went to the bathroom then left the restaurant/bar, went to my car and left. ​ Also yes there is better solutions, I call it the strip club.
