5	Female Australian senator accuses a male senator of making a misogynistic insult. He responds by documenting 26 examples of her making misandrist insults in the senate. For one, being rude and offensive is not the only way to get noticed. Sure, it works, but there are other ways. Second, and I don't live in Australia so it's hard for me to confirm, but other commenters here seem to be saying that by-and-large the media and popular opinion are siding with Hanson-Young. They would have a difficult time doing so if he had gone about this better, and so far the "ends" appear to be a point in favor of hyper-feminism. If she implied that all men are rapists (I say "if" because she denies it and the article sadly doesn't include a quote for that), then of course he's right to call her out, but this sophomoric shagging comment was completely the wrong way to do it. 5	A rape victim posted this on Imgur. It had 800 upvotes. It was removed from the front page while I was reading it. No, you pretty much read the spirit of the post correctly. OP explicitly says that they're ok with men getting lighter sentences because that makes it more "equal". The confession bear states that unequivocally. If the masses incorrectly believe the spelling/pronunciation/definition of a word to be a certain way, that way eventually becomes correct. Many subjects work this way.
