In court you lost your temper, prevented your lawyer from speaking and allowed yourself to be “tricked” by her lawyer? It sounds like you need to pay your lawyer, let her do her job, keep your mouth shut and stop getting in your own way. yep. I need to do that. I pay my lawyer than start running my mouth and getting in trouble lol. My lawyer said I was shooting myself in the foot.

I can't sleep. I am extremely stressed. I take melatonin and Benadryl but still can't sleep.

Also you need to get an attorney yourself and start having your ex pay for it. That will stop this. how can I make her pay for it? in this state, each one can make a claim for reimbursement of the attorney's fee. so whoever paid more attorney's fees will get reimbursed. currently, it's her.

I agree with you, that's my logic. I make about 70k, nothing crazy but can take care of myself and my kids. I can see myself doubling that in the next 4/5 years or less. do you think once we agree no one pays child support she won't come after me if later I make more than her?

In my state, Child support can be reevaluated every 3 years or when there’s a change of more than 20% in the income of either party. That's how it is in most states and in mine. I think ours is 25% difference or 3 years.

My ex did the same thing to me. filed a TRO, and I filed another TRO against her. then she was scared and settle for 50/50.

The only win is how your children remember you. Thank you, man. I will keep that in my mind.

hehe. I am stupid. after we divorced I told her I was dating someone else and that flipped the switch. She was the one who filled for divorce so I don't get why she would be mad. especially that I was an outstanding husband who never cheated.

So true. I guess I should just bend over then and continue to take it like a champ. Honestly, I am shocked that so many men endure that without a fuze going on. Society should be alarmed.

I wanna cry, man. This is a shit-hole situation. but I agree with what you said. that's so true because she has done this before and I guess I don't learn from my mistakes.

It's still too early for me to say for certain whether or not this has been my biggest failure. However, the experience of getting divorced and being kicked out of my house by my wife was definitely painful. The divorce process itself was difficult, and my wife's behavior during it made me question whether or not I really knew her true personality. Despite the initial pain, I suppose there's a chance that the separation could end up being a blessing in the long run. After my divorce, I've met a …

It's difficult to say why any particular group of people may hold certain beliefs. There are many factors that can influence a person's beliefs, including their upbringing, education, life experiences, and cultural influences. It's important to remember that individuals may have their own unique perspectives and motivations, and it's not always possible to fully understand the reasoning behind someone's beliefs. It's always a good idea to approach discussions about sensitive topics with an open …

What's positive about doing things with an ex? yea some people do it others don't. it depends on the dynamic you have with your ex. my best advice is to move on. Understand and Accept that life will be shitty for a little while and you need to focus on yourself and get better.
