The only reason she feels comfortable destabilizing the relationship in this manner is because she has another option she’s considering. Late to the thread, but I wanted to note that women have an incredible amount of options for support, but the chief among them is family. Hall and Oates' Rich Girl. The funny thing is, the girl needn't even be rich. I have a plate (ex-gf, thanks social media) that drives hours to see me, stays one night, then drives hours back to her home, where she lives with …

Absolutely. MGTOW men are essentially dead to women. I doubt that it will reach this level, but just look back at how many spinsters the World Wars produced. You do know that women are the primary victims of war, don't you?

Her incompetence is palpable. Even when she gets ten Trump supporters drunk at an open bar, she's unable to get anything damning out of them. There's definitely an opening in the market for a right wing satirist. Can you imagine what ten drunk Bernie supporters would spout off for the cameras?

Leadership in women is attractive, but only because women choose attractive women as their leaders. The queen bitch... sorry, head cheerleader, best mean girl, is always fuckable. Women leading men is unattractive to both women and men. Hillary Clinton hates freedom.

Nope, AMALT as well as AWALT. It just turns out that different genders happen to have different tendencies on average because of sex hormones and their lived experience. If women are more likely to get emotional and are treated with kid gloves by society, what would you expect to follow?

RP wants to live their lives in excellence to attract women. We set strong boundaries that women can comply with or not. Women may compromise their desires and behavior for a sufficiently high value man. This is a form of leadership that may "change personalities," but it is entirely based upon the choices of the follower. More accurately, we want women to change the personalities of women, as we know that true change comes from within.

Lol you're just being whiny. It can't be THAT bad!" You are missing the point. In your period example, that person is just being an asshole, not trying to explain anything.

None of your examples are of men explaining something in a "patronizing" manner. The problem with the term is that explaining something itself denotes a form of superiority, as the explainer has knowledge that the explainee does not. If the explanation isn't well received, women can just throw gender into it and say "oh, he thinks he knows better than me, mansplaining..." without any regard for the content. It's as insidious as men saying "oh little girl, what do you know of the real world" and …

More or less, the position from TRP is that boys rule and girls drool. Not at all. Two points. Most of TRP has no problem with AMALT: it's not unreasonable for a woman walking alone at night assume that any man that they pass could be a rapist. It's a useful heuristic that benefits those who use it, giving them the advantage of wariness and preparedness, or better yet, the forethought to not be in that position to begin with. Look at some of the comments on a TRP Blue Pill Example post: half of …

You're not completely unplugged, then, and still in denial, anger, depression, or bargaining. There is always a (slim) chance of forming a serious relationship with most anyone, but you still have to outcompete her present and her past. Up your game if you want a wife and family, unless you want to marry some virgin farm girl ingenue in the middle of Kansas. If you don't want those things, then look within for why you have unrealistic standards for plates.

Happy to whom? And what is wrecked? Men generally don't branch swing: they just fuck. If a man isn't happy and gets his needs met elsewhere, the family can persist. Women will branch swing. If they cheat and find something better, whether it be in terms of genes or resources, and they can keep what they got earlier, they will wreck it. AFBB or BBAF. But was she happy? Probably not. I don't think women can actually be happy until they snag an OG King: the first of a royal line. Those royal descen…

When we go through changes we have a tendency to talk about it... a lot. This is a common mistake that seems to be counterproductive. Do not talk about your goals, only your accomplishments. Four different tests of 63 people found that those who kept their goals private were more likely to achieve them than those who made them public and were acknowledged by others. Once you've told people of your intentions, it gives you a "premature sense of completeness."

What he said: Rape and assault is rape and assault. Whether it takes place on campus or on a dark street. And if a student rapes a fellow student, that has got to be understood to be a very serious crime. It has got to get outside of the school and have a police investigation. And that has to take place. Too many schools are seeing this as 'well it’s a student issue, let’s deal with it.' I disagree with that. It is a crime and it has to be treated as a serious crime. And you are seeing now the r…

The only inkling of hatred for women is that it's posted in a sub called femalehate (lol), which is self-described as The primary purpose of this subreddit is deriving entertainment value from the rampant stupidity and inferiority of females, and to a lesser extent, the stupidity of a world that embraces, enables, and encourages them. Men will always want to fuck everyday. Women have objectively gotten fatter and worse at their gender role tasks. It is not possible for men's standards to be unrealistic given these two facts. Some men use porn and say 2/10 would not bang on the internet. why do you take them seriously?

TBP thinks there is a "trick" because of omission. The attractive man doesn't disclose that he has options, or a wife, or a side ho, or a harem, but she didn't ask, because she was in the moment and wanted to believe that her ship had finally come in, or she was naive (not insecure: an insecure woman wouldn't believe that Chad wanted to bone her). They want the status quo man to be clueless and eager to commit, just like men want the status quo woman to be clueless and eager to fuck.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/12/15 12:08 AM

You are irrationally afraid. Any woman, by definition, can get a man better than her: better able to deal with life's troubles, almost certainly stronger, smarter on average, gets oneitis (no hypergamy) for real commitment, will starve before you and his kids do. Your job is to pick the best you can get: to put it all on red 37. Don't worry, though. If you lose, and you're western, the government will care for you and yours. It's really like gambling with someone else's money at this point.

There is a better solution out there than what TRP has to offer. We're fickle, malleable apes who like what we're used to. Men may just want to find a nice girl to settle down with, as that's the story we were told, and that some of us saw in the lives of our parents and grandparents. It's what we grew to expect, but one can't control for change. Marriage, in its current state, can work out for a REAL man: alpha bucks, never slip, android with game. I think it's more likely that women talk shit because they know nobody will hit them and they expect the men around them to white knight (see Key and Peele sketch). Joe Rogan talks about this occasionally, regarding trans women who want to participate in MMA. He is squarely against it on fairness grounds with good reasoning. My favorite anecdote about this subject, though, is the Williams sisters getting beaten by the 212th ranked man in tennis. Sexual dimorphism is a thing, yo.

The issue is that men "in those circles" are a) successful, so they may already be taken or have options b) have different preferences, so they may choose youth and beauty over a degree and c) have earning power to afford a family, which may be easier with a SAHM. This would only be a non-issue if men also refused to marry below their education level and is compounded by the fact that education takes time, which is the enemy of female beauty.

Both sexes get their pick. Men get their pick of the entire female population, with the risk of rejection. Women get their pick of the segment of the male population that picks them, with the risk of not obtaining commitment. Women who approach are signalling a few things: a) they don't care for the men who have picked them. b) the man they approach is better than the men who have picked her (aka they are in different leagues). c) she wants something quickly enough to work for it (ie; post-wall …

Back when marriage was a stable entity that reinforced the family unit, women had incentive to "make do" with the husband they had. The best strategies here were being supportive, so that he was in good spirits with more free time, and to hen peck him so that he spent it productively. If you have kids or want the marriage to work out, I'd suggest that. If you don't have kids or are too selfish to consider the effect on them, you have every incentive family courts can offer to divorce him.

Morality has far more to do with the culture you've been raised in. American's find beheading to be egregious, but to the Saudi's it's routine. Once you recognize that your morality would have been drastically different had you been born somewhere else, it becomes easier to detach from it to evaluate other cultures. If you've moved that far, then the following isn't necessarily true: "To shift position, a view has to be disproved as fundamentally incorrect." For instance, I've become more sympat…

No, we can't all agree to that. If a kid is homosexual, raised in Iowa to fundamentalist Christians, turns 18 and leaves home, does he have a social responsibility to deal with his bigot parents ever again? If a parent has a child who has a meth problem and steals from her repeatedly, does she have an obligation to invite him home for Christmas? It's wisdom so ancient that it's in the language itself. husband, from husbandry, "the care, cultivation, and breeding of crops and animals." wife, in midwifery, who are active mid-wife: birth. other instances of use are in reference to the vagina itself, but my favorite is: Dutch wijf now means, in slang, "girl, babe," having softened somewhat from earlier sense of "bitch."

Red Pill claim 2:Women shouldn't vote because they're emotional beings.I think this claim is not logical simply because democracy was never, ever in history about logic. Democracy means the majority decides , not the logical ones or those who register for the draft. Democracy means the majority of voters decides. When you limit the vote to the logical half of the population, it tends to be more about logic. oh, it's you. I must love playing pigeon chess.

You don't understand the issue here. This is not cheating because you tell your wife before you go and do these things. It's nuclear dread game. For many men, there is no relationship if there is no sex. If they were foolish enough to marry and have children, then they will often stick out this sexless, terrible marriage so the kids have a proper upbringing and to avoid divorce rape while they can. Outside of that situation, you just walk.

Oh god, any one of the thousand women that Wilt the Stilt chamberlain slept with. "Baller baby mamas" are common. This applies to any group. If there are too many Scandinavians in high status positions, then we need to fire them and install the Japanese, who are underrepresented. Women make up half of the population and therefore they should be in half the positions of power and influence. This does not follow. You asked for an elaboration of the logic because you "genuinely" did not understand. However, it doesn't look like that was what you were really after. You just wanted opportunities say in every comment that it is improper, immoral, unacceptable, and the like. Each reply was a jab to your humanity and your feels. I have no idea why you choose to waste time by coming to a debate forum in bad faith to talk about your feelings and ignore clarifications made for your benefit.

faulty premise. if male and female brains are different, then one is more similar to the brains of children, which are not yet "matured" by pubescent testosterone or estrogen spikes. you are welcome to treat men as children and report back, but it is hardly surprising that the sex popularly reputed to be mercurial and susceptible to emotion would respond well to kid gloves. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neuroscience_of_sex_differences

the church is a hindsight blue pill that can be romanticized, because beta providers are able to live full lives, reproduce, and have reason to contribute to society. I became a know it all atheist at thirteen, because god is obvious bullshit, but only came to appreciate the usefulness of religion recently. women are prone to social pressure and magical thinking, so the church can check hypergamy to some degree. however, unless you dig on Arabic chicks, those are simpler times of yore.

First, NYC is a terrible mating market for women, just as SF is bad for (non-gay) men. The wall is different for each individual. Unless you die in your prime, you will eventually hit the point where age takes its toll on you and looks fade. The wall is the realization that you aren't as hot as you used to be, people are treating you differently, and that you had better lock something down before your value erodes entirely. Older women are more seductive because they have to be.

Is it not worth it to at least ask ourselves why women are much more likely to be sexually harassed and stalked, and men to do so? Men are conditioned by society to initiate mating interactions. If women believe that the man attempting the initiation to be below her, then it is reported as sexual harassment. This is the difference between Newman from Seinfeld and Brad Pitt saying "Hey, sugartits!" to 100 women on the street and the differing reactions they would receive on average. Because of th…

They are related by sentence structure. I find it strange that you divorce 'respecting other's opinions" from the context entirely, then seemingly translate it to either not respecting people generally, or to not respecting that others are entitled to an opinion (essentially "agreeing to disagree"). The two sentences are clearly related to the preceding one: Natural betas tend to supplicate, rather than dominate. We want to explain ourselves. We want to explain ourselves. We respect others' opinions and desire their approval. Are you being deliberately obtuse? You cut out the end of the second sentence, then argued against not respecting people, while OP was discussing respecting their opinions AND seeking their approval. OP's two sentences are highly related, and you chose to argue against the strawman in the middle that you created. The issue is wanting to explain ourselves due to a desire for approval from others, which can happen…

You could eat 100% carbs a day and no fat or protein and still lose weight. Nah, you'd die, then you'd lose weight. Essential fatty and amino acids exist. You are correct that calories in vs. calories out is the numerical factor relevant to weight gain. However, keto is a thing because carbs produce less satiety than fats and proteins, due to insulin regulating blood sugar levels. Carbs make you hungrier sooner, so yes, you can lose weight eating mostly carbs, but for most it's more difficult to…

Not exactly not exactly. While I agree with your refutation of parent's glycemic index out the window statement, I have to call you on "a calorie is not a calorie as far as weight gain." I've read Taubes and watched Lustig, but a calorie is a calorie when it comes to weight gain. The better way to phrase what they are talking about is: a calorie is not a calorie when it comes to satiety. Spiking sugar forces insulin to shunt that energy into fat cells so you don't enter a diabetic coma, making y…

You should edit your post to remove any reference to nuts and cheese. Once you realize that carbs are useless physiologically (there is no such thing as an essential carb, but essential amino acids and fatty acids exist), calorie dense foods are the single greatest hurdle to losing weight. So many keto people eat bacon cheeseburgers without the bun, and yes, it will help them lose weight, because they are likely fatasses with TDEE's upwards of 3k, because fat takes energy to maintain, too. What is Red Pill about being 60 years old, with no wife, no kids, an empty house and lots of cool experiences but no one who cares to hear about it? There are far more men in this position because they devoted their lives to their families, got divorced, got their kids turned against them by their ex-wives, and because of their previous familial devotion, they neglected old friends and forewent opportunities to make new ones. The man who never had a family will, in most cases, have more money, b…

Many TRPers love the carousel ('enjoy the decline'). The shaming you're speaking of is because they believe that riding the carousel decreases a woman's ability to pair bond for a LTR/Marriage. There's some data there (tl2cite), showing higher divorce rates correlating with a woman's higher partner count. The issue is that a woman can't secure the commitment of the hottest guy willing to fuck her, so a woman "settles" in marriage if she was on the carousel.

Thanks for the thoughtful response. I commented on this in another reply, but I don't believe that hedonism is equivalent to the inability to postpone gratification. Lifting may not be as pleasurable as getting stoned and playing Halo in the moment, but being in peak physical form and getting laid is more pleasurable that being a fat incel in a year. As I said, we spend half our time bitching about bitches engages in 'primal' behavior. Primal does not equal virtue, value, or morality intrinsically. I'm sure that there is joy in fatherhood, but there is also joy in other things. I advocate figuring out what makes you happy and acting on that determination, rather than engaging in post hoc justifications for things that happened because of one's primal instincts.
/r/TheRedPill17/03/15 03:42 PM

You are confusing hedonism and the inability to plan. The Marshmallow experiment comes to mind. If you want two marshmallows, you've just got to chill out in the room for ten minutes not eating the one marshmallow thats on the table. If the net pleasure from the act of waiting for the second marshmallow surpasses the net pleasure of instant marshmallow gratification and you're able to think it through, then a rational hedonist would be satisfied with your "good" outcome.

Conservatives should prefer that she is elected President. The Republicans have the House locked up until at least 2022, due to the gerrymandering of 2010. With her at the top of the ticket running for reelection in 2020, the Democrats won't get the sweeping majorities they need to unfuck the gerrymander. With her in the middle of her second term, the Democrats are unlikely to retake the House, as historically speaking the President's party wanes in congressional power as their stay in office le…

Lots of people think they know what "begging the question" means, but erroneously think that it refers to "this set of circumstances naturally leads to this question" rather than the assumption of the answer within the question itself. If you want to handle tests well, I highly recommend brushing up on your logical fallacies. https://yourlogicalfallacyis.com/assets/FallaciesPosterHigherRes.jpg

it really depends on the person, but based on what I've read it usually resolves in three days to three weeks. during that time eat more protein to compensate.

your diet is not "as low carb" as possible if you are eating fruits and rice. as others said, eat at least 500 cal below your TDEE. if those calories come from protein and fat, you'll feel the hunger pangs less, as your body will be primed to burn fat due to the reduced mobilization of insulin. see /r/keto

No. If you think shamed, circumcised men don't masturbate, then I have a bridge to sell you. Removing the foreskin can make it slightly more difficult to do so, but it still happens. As a medical procedure, the only infinitesimal justification is a slight decrease in STD transmission if you have unprotected sex. I'm sorry if you got cut, but there is no good reason that you did-- it was because God told your parents to, or so that you "would look like your daddy". That's the redpill on circs, no…

I'm absolutely terrible at text tonality, so I try to avoid it as much as possible. As soon as I hit your bold text in that post, I started reading it as some random deep voiced guy from lock stock and two smoking barrels, which then led to dun you go runnin roun to re ro and i totally lost you. jk, i get you. good point.

I have a close friend with type 1, and I know that he loves his hypomania and has also tried to find ways to ride that dragon. I've also seen him in a seroqel stupored depression and magical thinking mania and can say from my perspective that baseline (and not baseline +1) is the proper goal. An episode can set you so much further back than a few months of hypomania can advance you. Good post and good luck. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on operating in and escaping depression.

It's useful for concentration and appetite suppression-- think caffeine on steroids. The XR version is smoother over time, but what you really want is Vyvanse. edit: Elvanse for you UK folks.

My experience with prescription psychiatric drugs: SSRIs: I've tried 3-4 of them. They never helped me, but did manage to kill my erections and give me diarrhea. Can't recommend, but serotonin probably isn't my problem. Wellbutrin: Fantastic. Dopaminergic drugs will make the most tedious tasks bearable. If you want to "embrace the suck," then this is your guy. It can also help you quit smoking and is an appetite suppressant, which will usually result in weight loss if you're after that effect. A…

Feminism did not change women, rather, it revealed them for who they truly are: what it is to be female without man-made ideologies actively and socially suppressing the worst parts of their nature. These modern women, they are uncivilized. Women fear shame, and in a society without shame, they are most rabid, almost animal-like for the most part. In my early teens, I came to the rational realization that God was a steaming pile of imaginary bullshit. That thought poisoned my view of religion an…

Baney was accused of slugging Walter Frey, 46, while he slept inside her Upper West Side apartment about 10:45 p.m., court records show. WHILE HE WAS ASLEEP. Top Comment: I'll give her a pass on this one. Being cheated on is a terrible thing and her response, alhough over the top, was appropriate.

calling shows you have balls and sets you apart. text her hi and your name, say you'll call her later, then call her later. this PUA bullshit isn't a cheat code for pussy that you have to follow to the letter. the text gauges her interest (does she reply?) and lets her add you as a contact, so your name shows up instead of some strange number she'll ignore.

Treat inquiries you don't want to engage on as shit tests. Agree and amplify, change the subject, tease her for being insecure, be vague, omit things, "forget" things, tell her she's being boring, soft next, walk away. She's playing you-- omissions are not lies, and her outright lies aren't excused because she was baiting you.

you can fake confidence, but not with that attitude. lifting increases your testosterone and self esteem, which builds confidence. women are attracted to the bold, not the timid.

we did. i can go through the same thing with meme, which was 'scientific terminology' coined by dawkins in the selfish gene. it's still language. slang definitions get added to the OED if they become prevalent enough. pedantic and thick, what a catch.

consider the word whip. it's that thing they used on jesus, right? but if you're gettin hyphee in oakland, you may ghost ride the whip. whip in this context means car. cars weren't around when jesus was gettin lashes. denying that language can evolve and that words can take on new definitions in different contexts over time is some real pedantic bullshit.

being able to do stubble has more to do with coverage than coloration. it doesn't look pubey unless you grow it out. if you have coverage, consider buying a stubble trimmer and use that instead of shaving, or shave every four days.

I'm at work, aka I'm being "commercially mechanically and intellectually exploited." Oh wait, I get paid and choose to show up. It's the world oldest profession. So fucking insulting to tell these women who are trying to get by that they have no agency, even though they are adults. And on top of it, they keep it underground where women and girls can be exploited without regulation. SMRT.

The power is yours. Thanks, Captain Planet! I think it might be better framed by giving her your time, rather than giving her sex. This may be because I'm assuming sex, or you wouldn't be there. If your SMV is high enough, you can buy her sex and even her unilateral oneitis commitment for a small amount of your time, if you are SMV rich.

Your appearance is more important than talking to a barber about the redpill. I'm all for male spaces, but the haircut itself is the focus. How to get a good haircut: Shop around. Spend 3-6 months trying out different barbers/stylists when you move to a new place. Realize that you usually get what you pay for. At a salon, the stylists usually have different rates based upon their experience and demand for their services. Note I said usually-- I've gotten great $10 haircuts before, but I've had m…

some people are asexual, or gay, but this is rare. don't necessarily believe that she is like this with all the guys, especially Chad. you must look within. are you as fit as you could be? have you read, internalized, and practiced the sex god method? if there is a true libido mismatch, make it clear that you fuck erryday and that it doesn't have to be with her.

That is some mundane bullshit advice, and your appraisal of it is severely flawed. First, out of all the people who have ever existed, the only person equal to you in every way is you. Second, evolution is a natural law based around getting with the fittest person you can procreate with. Your partner would drop you for Brad or Angelina in a hot second if they thought they could get them.

this is why you are backsliding. you are nearly constantly taking in carbs, which will spike insulin and shunt blood sugar into your fat cells, making you hungry again ("chinese food effect"). the weakness you felt was due to your body not having properly primed your fat burning biochemical pathways due to neglect. the "weakness" you describe is common and will pass. just eat more protein until your body adapts. otherwise, you're going to have a hard time of it.
