No if you have a baby together the entire thing changes. Obviously a father who was married to a stay at home mother should continue to provide similar financial support to the child as if they were married. Although I think men should be able to "nope" out of custody and financial obligation if they so chose from the onset. Their version of abortion.

that should be the standard from the court's perspective. disgrace it isnt. unless a woman stays home and doesnt work, by agreement, she should be on her own financially if separation occurs
